Update- I got into those pants last night! Buttoned and zipped! They are still tight, so I won’t be wearing them to work for a bit, but I did it. Happy dance was done at 12:30 am(crazy stuff happens when you can’t sleep). 😁. Now, to loosen em and wear em to work!

5’2.5 , and at 303lbs now, I’d love to be 135. (Which is what I was before I had my son-22 yrs ago). We’ll see how it goes. I’ll be thrilled to death just to get below 200 at this stage.

Type 2 here. I can tell you a few things that have helped me. See a dietitian. They will help you know the foods you can and can’t have. They’ll also show you portion control(at least mine did). Mine also went to the grocery store with me once, and showed me where some of my errors were. They may be able to point out other…

I can’t wait until this is me. As it stands, I’m wondering where you got yours, as I want one for my next flight. 😎

2 pairs of pants that I bought last summer (in August to be exact). They no longer fit. Not sure how far I am from that goal, as I reached where I thought I needed to be. But they still don’t fit. So, I m thinking I just need to lose some inches. It’ll happen.

🙋🏼♀️I do. I try to go 2 days a week and trying to work in a 3rd. Usually go over the weekends or after work. 😁😎

Meeeee. Started MFP at 323 in early Feb. down 12 lbs. now at 311. My diary is open to friends. I even log the bad stuff! Wouldn’t mind adding some more “big” friends. 😁😎

🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️. I am right there with you. Last 3 weeks been hovering at 313. This am, that scale FINALLY moved. Down to 311. It’s a challenge. But I am so doing this! 😁😎

Thanks for the responses. I don’t think they contain any calories. I know one of them I looked up had like a -4 calorie value. (Who couldn’t use negative calories, right? 😜). None of them are liquids though. As for “quick calories”. I’ll have to look at that- I haven’t found that part of the diary/ap yet. Still learning....

Check with your bank- maybe they’re blocking the transaction- thinking it’s a fraudulent charge. Happened to me before with another site. Don’t know for sure if that’s it, but...🤷♀️

quote="solieco1;c-43375580"] Good job on the coke! But mostly I wanted to say that your profile pic makes me laugh
The picture was taken when we went on our first cruise this past April. That was the first towel animal that was left in our room. Had to take a picture with it. 😁

Hell, own it. Comments come- say, “Thanks!” Or you can add “Ive worked hard on getting this figure.” At least they noticed(kind of a warped way to think about it but...)😎

As a bigger gal myself, I get it. And you know what I’ve found out- seeing other “big people” in the gym inspire me to keep going in. - if they can do it, I can too. And you know what else? Sometimes, those that are in better shape, have helped me out. An understanding smile, a pointer here and there, answering my dumb…

Having to go sit in the car and wait for my husband to finish a zip line course while we were on vacation together- because I exceeded the weight limit for the zipline. I cried while he was out because I was so disappointed and Jealous that I couldn’t do it too.

I was big and gaining before going on Lexapro. I don’t think it’s the drug that did it. Been taking Lexapro for about 10 years now.

Coca Cola is my kryptonite. A coworker had thoughtfully (she didn’t know I was trying to kick this habit) bought and brought me a 20oz Coke. I turned it down and gave it back to her. (Progress!!). Normally I would’ve taken it and sipped on it all day long. Or drank it and gone for another later in the day.

For me, I have found, that remembering that it’s not a race, it’s not a competition, and I can go at my own pace- helps tremendously.

Cheesecake Factory salted Carmel cheesecake, carne asada - either with beans and rice, or tacos, or in a torta

I’m on Lexapro (20mg.) and Wellbutrin XL (150mg) all I can tell you is, is I am more apt to taking care of myself when on them. I don’t think it’s the drug that’s caused my weight gain(I was big and getting bigger before I was on them).

Ate all the “crap food” I wanted in my teens. Absolutely hated gym class so as soon as I was done with it- didn’t do it. But then I loved to ice skate. Pregnancy then came, to me,meant I couldn’t do that anymore. I gained so much weight, and since I hated exercise- I didn’t lose the baby weight- in fact I gained. Thyroid…

I speak both English and Spanish! Although writing in spanish is kind of hard for me, as it’s not my first language. But I try! 😁 my friends have said I’m a white girl who speaks Spanish with a Salvadorian accent. 🤷♀️😎

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is a feat!
I didn’t mean the “congrats, that’s a feat” as a bad thing. I honestly thought it was a fantastic inspiring thing that that person had gone down from 411 to 298. That takes a lot of work. (Someone had marked the “woo” button on my post, thought I had better clarify.)

I was at one time 411.6lbs and as of today I am 298lbs still need to loose 98lbs..So I am with ya.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is a feat!

1 to be able to do things with my husband that he enjoys doing 2 to be able to “fit” in- as one poster said- movie theater seats are now uncomfortable. And plane seats are really difficult on long flights. (Hubs and I have discovered we like to travel- and are finally able to do it more than once a year!) 3- so tired of…

Hi! I am on this journey too. Just restarted. Finally at a place where I can focus on this, instead of giving it a quarter(not even a half) hearted try. Maybe this time, I can stick with it. 😁
