I'm 45, I set up MFP to lose .5 lbs a week and I'm on target. As long as I'm consistent with my intake, accurate with my intake by using a food scale I have no problem losing. It's only when I get lazy and guesstimate my portions that I notice I'm not on target for loss. Age really doesn't have much to do with it. If you…

I usually plan out breakfast & lunch for the week.

I'm the same height and am losing eating 1500 calories a day. I lose about .5 lbs a week. I started at 157 and am now 142. So you CAN lose eating 1500 calories a day.

You need a new trainer. EVERYBODY has body fat.
-
Honestly, I doubt it.
-
Most people here eat more than 1200 calories.
-
Stats please. How long have you been at this? Have you lost ANY weight at all? Age, weight, height? How many calories are you eating? You're not gaining muscle eating at a deficit, running and in a week.
-
You need more than 1 week of data, ideally a month, before you start changing anything imo.

Never happened to me.

Depends on the individual. For me, I love weighing every single day and logging my weight into the app Happy Scale. The daily up & downs don't bother me because I can see my weight steadily going down.

A couple of chocolate chip cookies. Haagen Daz dulce de leche ice cream. Hershey kisses.

This sub reddit has some more exciting food ideas for those who chose to only eat 1200 calories a day: https://www.reddit.com/r/1200isplenty/ It's not just limited to salads, salads are good but I know lots of people get tired of eating salad day in and day out.

You should read the stickies, there's a lot of valuable information there.

They don't work at all. Save your $$$.

None of them.

Just do it. I'm sure there's time somewhere early in the morning or instead of watching tv during primetime exercise during that time.
-
Both!

My thoughts: They're consistent They have realistic weight loss expectations They don't have a crazy deficit going on They meal plan They don't demonize food

Crunches don't tighten the abdomen.

Just enjoy your day.

It up to you whichever "program" you choose. My opinion on whats better? Educating yourself on a realistic, sustainable weight loss plan. Maybe you're thinking weight watchers is some type of miracle weight loss plan where you'll lose weight quickly and have the body you've always dreamed of... It's not. Just like with any…

Are you using a food scale to weigh/measure all your food/drinks or are you guesstimating your portions?
-
I don't see the problem, you're losing weight even with your "cheating". That said, sounds like your deficit is too aggressive hence the "cheating".

I worked with a woman years ago who did Weight Watchers and she lost over 60 lbs. She also kept the weight the weight off. Honestly, besides CICO, Weight Watchers is probably best.

I don't know why but I don't think of chipotle as fast food. I freaking love chipotle but I haven't eaten there in months. I may have to treat myself tomorrow!
-
:D that was funny!
-
This is the "fast" food that gets me, especially jamaican food.

No but for 2 reasons: The majority of time it just tastes terrible - why can't I ever get a piping hot burger?!?! I don't want a room temperature burger :s My family rarely ate it much anyway.

No, I don't think that's a realistic goal. I'm a full time working mom and so are a lot of other women here and for those that exercise they find time to exercise. I have to get up at 5 am in order to get it done but for me it's, hell I'm worth it. Anyway, weight loss is more about how much you're eating than exercising.…
