I also had Graves, many years later after treatment I now have to take thyroxine every day. It’s not so scary having Graves, you can adapt

Yes please, I’m not a friend collector and want a small group who gives active encouragement, feedback and support. This helped in the past and makes a difference

Ha! I’m back too! Lost 18kg, got rid of the looser ex, found an amazing partner, loving life and put it all back on. Getting back on track with tracking. Fell off the wagon two weeks ago, spent a week and a half chasing it down to get back on, and now, here I am. I could do with some cheerleaders too 👻

Haha so true!

You would think that flies would have a more interesting common name

Yep. Looks are definitely important but they wont keep you interested for the long term. I need to find some kind of physical attraction to light that spark - that could just be the way they look at you sometimes, and I do need to know they are attracted to me but yea I definitely think looks matter to keep that bonfire…

Gosh! Got your work cut out for you!! When I was a bit heavier, and a student, I got up to around 14F (New Zealand sizing) I could get away with a cheapie from target (Kmart is the equivalent here) plus buy a slightly smaller crop top to go over the top to really smoosh those bad boys down. Wasn't that comfortable but on a…

^^ This!! My top two: Machine hogging while they sit there just texting or whatever it is people with no gym etiquette do - go work out in the high school gym please if you gonna do that. My biggest peeve is people not wiping machines after them. Its always the really gross and stinky people too. YUCK!!! I always wonder if…

Yep - was the same until I started buying the Berlei sports bras. 12F... It is possible to run and not have them smack you in the head and try to tear free from your chest!! Of all the ones I have tried these are the best I think

I cook in a similar way. I use the recipe area to create my own recipes, number of serves in it, and then I just roughly make it the same way each time so don't bother re-measuring each time. You will need to weigh/measure at least once when creating the recipe though. Oh and heaps of food entries in the database are…

I like milk but did recently cut it out of coffee because it tastes bad out of plastic containers and I have never seen any cafe here use cardboard containers. So few of my friends buy cardboard containers so was just easier to just get rid of milk in coffee, but as far as drinking in a milkshake or a glass of cold milk -…

Well the cinema were kind enough to weigh it for me and here is the answer: For Reading Cinema NZ: Junior- 80g Medium- 140g Large- 295g Jumbo- 315g - I dont know if this includes the box
-
Ah cheers for that. Reading cinema emailed me back (similar sizes to Event/Hoyts/Rialto I think) and they are going to look at putting box sizes on their website ...Yay! I think I might go in and ask them for an empty box and risk being labelled the weird lady... I'll post back with my results for anyone interested. I dont…

...yes it was!
-
Yep thats what I did in the end, awaiting a reply. Drinks are easy enough to estimate size and its easy to find nutritional info elsewhere but popcorn is really difficult because every cinema and different countries have different sizes. To estimate you need to know roughly the volume the box holds. What is a medium here…

Of course, absolutely each and every one of you

Great answers here, helped me too so thanks everyone :)

You can only fail when you give up. Draw a line, step over it. Done. Its In the past. Tomorrow is a fresh day to try again. We all have days where we could have made better choices and they get further apart thank goodness. The other night I just *had* to have cheesecake. I had it and just upped the exercise the next…

Yea I used to stress about the daily number but as long as my weekly NET averages under daily goal I am happy

We don't really do Valentines Day here in NZ (although retailers still try to get our hard earned $$), but I would do something cute and a bit naughty like paint some melted chocolate on your lips and give her a chocolate kiss. "....Honey I know you love chocolate And you love me so I thought I'd combine the two!..." Win…

My experience is with cardio machines the gym grade ones are pretty good *as long as you program all the right profile settings* and it has heart rate sensors in the handles. They are also calibrated and serviced on a regular basis. My gym ones are very modern and are very close to my fitbit readings. I have used other…

My quote for the day "what's half an hour out of your life?!" Just commit yourself to one session. Just one. Then another... you'll be back into it in no time. I only just dragged my butt off the couch tonight for the first time since the Christmas holidays, and I tell you what, I feel *incredible* One session at a time…

Just sent FR! I have a small group but am always looking for people to support me when my willpower wanes as well, and in turn I promise I'll be there for you L.
