Welcome everyone to another month of riding!!! I'm reducing my miles in May to 200. I hope to do a combination of indoor and outdoor, but will again be primarily riding indoors on a trainer (and using Zwift).

I only completed about 1/2 of my expected miles for April. Part of that is having a new indoor trainer which is adding to my resistance and cutting down my miles. @Rchin4thestarz I ride indoors regularly. That is actually where most of my miles are logged. Be on the lookout for the May thread. A new one comes out each month. There is an April thread right now. I haven't checked to see if the May one has been created. Just an FYI.

@35dollars not sure why the difference is showing. Did you change any of your settings recently? Update your weight recently? As you loose weight it will take more effort to burn calories. The other thing I noticed from your graphs is that on the left you spent 42 minutes in Zone 2 vs the right where you spent over an hour…

Thanks for the advice @tcaley4 . We checked that this morning and it didn't work. Turns out that I was right that it needed a new battery, but... then the sensor needed to be "reset". And on some models there is no reset button...... FYI to all of you....what we needed to do was put the battery in backwards or the wrong…

Very frustrated tonight. Cadence/speed sensor stopped working for no reason. Changed the battery. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Ugh! Had planned on riding 40 miles tonight.

Last month someone had asked about a stand to put by their bike. There is a laptop table (IKEA) that works really well. You can raise and lower the height of the table as needed and the base is in a Y shape so it fits around he front wheel and can go right in front of you. Oh, and it's about $20 so really economical.
