I'm only in my second week, but my total carb goal is 70 grams (starting at 356lbs) and my net carbs so far have been averaging between 40-70. :smiley:

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I feel reassured now that starting off low-ish carb and working toward keto may be the best option for me. I'm looking forward to the day when both my husband and I can say we've kicked our carb addiction to the curb!

Hmmm. I'm guessing you're male, and probably taller than me? I used MFP's auto-recommendations for a 5'5" sedentary woman at 360 pounds with a 2lb/week loss goal, and 1930 is the target they gave me!
