It was intense haha. I did 2 reps off the chest with no arch on flat. I just posted a video of 205 on my page... Was able to hit 190 on incline.

I totally agree!! I'm nervous to compete in my first power lifting meet next year. So far my totals (I think) are decent but I want to get them higher: Bench: 225 Dead: 330 Squat: 350
-
That's fantastic!!
-
Nice!!! My husband has his IFBB Pro card in men's physique, what division do you compete in?
-
Thank you!! I actually train abs 3x a week. I didn't see the point since I was still so overweight but it has definitely helped.
-
90lb difference here!!
-
As of today, a newborn calf!!
-
No luck, just work! Although I never had a flat butt, working on it 3x a week definitely helps haha
-
Thank you!!! It's been a crazy journey, I am now down 81lbs!

So I've received some crappy messages about my fast weight loss and even people questioning my body. So I decided to post a more stripped down progress photo to show how my hard work is paying dividends. Thank you so much to everyone and their motivational messages!

Hi! I'm 5'3 and have lost 81lbs. Still a looooong way from goal but consistently losing!
-
Hi Pals! I've lost 81bs in about 4 months now (yes it's a drastic loss but I made very drastic changes) I train heavy weights and didn't start doing much cardio until very recently. Looking forward to losing 100lbs by NYE and getting that much closer to reaching my goal! [/quote] Wow! What an emormous difference! Was this…

For me personally, I feel worse when I'm not working out. Just make sure you wipe everything down with sanitizer so you avoid getting anyone else sick. Hah

I have been lucky that I train with my husband but he recommends starting off benching and squatting in the Smith Machine if you don't have a spotter. You may also want to start with an EZ Bar for benching purposes until you get your strength up. Lift all the heavy things!

Yes add the squats!! If you've never done them before I highly recommend using a Smith Machine with no weight just to get an idea of the movement and weight of the bar. The other thing I do 2x/3x a week is glute work. I bought an ankle cuff to affix to various machines to help tone it up as well. Thank you!

You're not bringing me down and just because I'm losing fast doesn't mean I will gain it back, although I'm sure a lot of people do. I've committed myself to this lifestyle change and haven't looked back. I am now down 81lbs since the end of July and have not had one week where I had a zero pound loss or gain.

Strength gains coming up! Planning to compete in a power lifting competition next year!
-
Honestly, it's just good eating and hard work friend.
-
Bubbalicious! Hahaha thanks!
-
LOL!!!! Thank you!!! I do a lot of work on it haha. Hack squats, front and regular squats, leg curls (laying and regular) hip abduction, etc etc. You name it, I do it. Haha
-
Update Update Update!!!!! 13 WEEK PROGRESS!!! Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support and motivation, I have lost almost 80lbs now!!!!
-
Thank you! My goal for the rest of the year is to hit 100lbs lost by NYE. I would love a training parter! I've thought about becoming a personal trainer once I get closer to goal. Haha
-
LOL This exactly!! I do 3 different types of squats, use a glute machine and use the ankle attachments for cable workouts for the booty! Haha
-
Thank you again everyone Here is my 9 week photo. I have lost 65lbs in this last 9 weeks.
-
Hehe thank you!! My husband is an amateur bodybuilder so it definitely helps having him to guide me in the gym. I was so intimidated at first. I would shoot an email or approach a manager about your training goals. I know PF isn't exactly known for lifting heavy weights but I think if you express your goals and let them…
-
Why would I need to specify the type of lift? It's still a deadlift! Want me to find some more videos of fat Olympic powerlifters bouncing weights too? Bye. Finally.
-
Tha is Christy! Even though I clearly don't know what I'm doing ;)

You said my feet were too far apart. There are many varying stances for the deadlift. It was not a sumo stance but even if it were, that doesn't negate the fact that it was a deadlift nonetheless. You went on to comment that I banged the weights and that is also improper. I gave you very relevant links to professionals…
