To eat 5 times a day breakfast lunch and dinner plus 2 small snacks. And drink more water he's not that helpful

I have no energy and have a hard time loosing weight. My doctor told me it's do to slow metabolism. I don't eat junk food I drink plenty of water and eat fruits and veggies. I just can't loose the Weight and gain the energy
