I've been lifting for about 8 months so still pretty new. I'm trying to cut slowly because I don't have much to lose. I guess I just don't want to feel disappointed if it's normal to have to go down in weight when cutting. I also want to lose as little muscle as possible. When I lost weight last year I didn't know what I…

I eat 33g every morning on one slice of bread, I feel it's the perfect amount. I think i look forward to my morning PB more than my morning coffee

You could always maintain for now and if you decide to run another bulk later you still can!

Awesome job! Beautiful bride : )

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I wish you all the best. When my Aunt was going through her chemo treatments she would ride the stationary bike, this was with her Dr's approval.
-
It is amazing!
-
I'll add you. I'm in maintenance/recomp right now.

I'm not going to log on Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year's Eve. Otherwise I'm logging all my food and working out as usual.

Hello, I'm 33 years old and 5'2" 115# and I maintain eating around 1900/2000 cals a day. I lift 4-6 days a week and am otherwise moderately active.
-
I recommend using a weight trending app like Libra. My weight fluctuates throughout the month. Libra has been helpful for me to see my actual trend over time that way I don't get upset if the scale spikes up one day here or there. Also I would reverse diet into maintenance.

2018 goals 1. Participate in my first bikini competition 2. Be able to do a 15 sec handstand 3. Enjoy life to the fullest!

I wear gloves. Also moisturize.

I'm 5'2" 115lbs and I'm maintaining on around 1900/2000. I would say I'm moderately active.

I often find that I'm disappointed in "protein treats". I'd rather hit my protein goal with my meals and maybe a protein shake. If I want a treat I find a way to fit it in.

Stronglifts is a free online program, just Google it. Strong Curves has the PDFs of the workouts free online but there is a book that is really the "meat" of the program. You can get the book from Amazon, I recommend the actual book not the Kindle version.

I agree, you look amazing! Congratulations on all your hard work!

If it's from chafing (and it sounds like it is), you could try and apply a thin layer of Vaseline or aquaphor to your nips before you run. Also, I agree with looser fitting tops.

This. Plus, I'm type A so I enjoy logging and prepping my food. I enjoy a treat meal once a week that I don't worry about and so far it hasn't been a problem.
-
Absolutely! I love carbs. I did experiment with less carbs and more fat when I was in a deficit for a little while. The fat did help me feel fuller longer. But I never gave up carbs and now I eat plenty of them that I'm in maintenance.

I prefer to get my protein from food but I will drink a shake on a busy day when I can't make my food.
-
Well my gym is in my house so technically I'm there everyday. I do resistance training 4x a week. Cardio 2x a week. 1 rest day, but I walk everyday just to stay active.
-
I will skip nothing.

Hi, congratulations on your weight loss! I'm 33 5'2" and maintain my weight from 114-117. I would say I'm moderately active: about 10k steps a day, cardio 2x a week, and resistance training 4x a week. I eat around 1800-1900 cals plus a treat meal once a week that's not included in those calories.

Pizza for me. I always crave it and then when I have it as a treat meal it just doesn't satisfy. I don't know why I keep craving it
-
I like it in soups or in chili.
-
My daily dessert is a serving of chocolate chips with pecans or almonds. This treat for some reason doesn't cause me to have sugar cravings but if I eat a cookie or brownie I want to keep eating.
-
Usually I lift around 8-9. I like to walk or do other cardio late morning.
-
I always make a pumpkin cheesecake. I also love pecan pie and apple pie with a crumble topping.
-
My weight fluctuates within a three pound range throughout the month. I recommend using a weight tending app like Libra. It will track your weight for your despite fluctuations. You'll be better able to see your trend with this app whether you're going up, down, or staying in maintenance.

So according to the definition then I'm not skinny fat but I still want my fat gone!
