Awesome progress!

I think I'm skinny fat too...

I'm starting Strong Curves this week which is a very glutes focused total body program.

This!

That would likely be the fiber causing the bloat. Just drink plenty of water if that happens.

This is a great plan that you can do with home with dumbbells. https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/dumbbell-only-home-or-gym-fullbody-workout.html

Gotcha, but overall you should end up at maintenance.
-
I thought with recomp you weren't supposed to end up with a deficit at all. Whether you cycle or eat stay calories, I thought at the end of the week your calories should be at maintenance not in a deficit.

I spend anywhere from $600-800 a month on groceries and toiletries for a family of 5. We eat healthy but not organic. That includes our lunches as we pack them. In addition to that we get 1-3 meals out a month.

Great work!

Thank you : )

Yes, in short. I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. I'm trying to decide how much weight I need to lose.

I like plain black coffee.

I mix it with Greek yogurt as well, but I use vanilla Greek yogurt with cinnamon and allspice.... So yummy. I haven't tried it with cottage cheese but I will be soon!

Unfortunately once you have back surgery future surgeries may be inevitable. I would contact your Dr, you may need some imaging.

I watch instructional videos on proper form. I also have my husband check my form for me and I record myself to make sure I'm getting it right.

I've done the third program on your list. I think it's great, especially for just starting out. OP, look into some adjustable dumbbells.

I work out at home, I have a pretty good home gym set up. I do swim, walk, and bike in my neighborhood.

Thank you for the articles!

Yeah, it's a good program. I did it for 8 weeks, the only reason I stopped was because I wanted to change to a 4 day split. I did make strength gains, which was my goal!
-
Have you looked into strong lifts 5x5?

I am trying to lower my bf and build some muscle. I don't think 42g of protein a day will be near enough for me. Also, the protein does help to keep me feeling fuller, when I do more carbs I tend to want to eat more in general.

This is the schedule I try to follow. I never miss a lifting session but sometimes I do miss cardio. My lifting sessions are around 60-75 minutes. Cardio 30-60 minutes. Mon- upper body and abs Tues- lower body Wednesday- cardio and abs Thursday- upper body Friday- lower body and abs Saturday- cardio or yoga Sunday- rest day

Yeah, I have noticed I'm a bit weaker during my TOM. I have really a heavy flow and I wouldn't doubt it if I become iron deficient at that time. That could be the case for you as well.

That's what I did during my deficit so I'll just keep it up then!

Hey you gotta let loose every now and then!

I set a goal weight and when I reached it I was still unhappy with my body. I wasn't tired of cutting at the time so I set a new goal and kept losing. After reaching that goal I thought I would try for a few more pounds. Well my body was just done being in a deficit. I was cranky and exhausted all the time. My weight is…
