I just upgraded my account to the trial premium and really noticed my carb intake is way high. So in the next few weeks/months I’m going to focus on lower carb intake. And more balanced macros. Hoping to see some good results. If anyone has do’s or dont’s for a low carb focus I’d love to hear what you all think!

@Terytha Hope the water has receded and you all are ok! @conleywoods It stinks when the scale is slow to respond. Seems like you are doing the work to make your goals happen. Plus you are always so positive and enthusiastic for everyone in our group! Maybe give yourself just a little break as well. Hope your scale wakes up…

CW: 163.4 PW: 163.8 This week all my kids are back to school and I have the house to myself again. So nice to regain the quiet time to focus on my goals and not nag them about school work.

At the first of 2020 I decided o wanted to run a half marathon in Luxembourg. I thought it would help me with making and sticking to my plans. The race I signed up was scheduled for this month but was cancelled in March. I ran it anyways! This afternoon I ran 13.1 miles through (and beyond) my neighborhood. I’m feeling…

Oh my I also need to put the chocolate in a bin far away from my kitchen!

My steps last week felt so off for me. This is without a tracker - just captured while intentionally walking with my phone or during a run with my phone. What a great case to use a tracker. I don't feel like I walked that much less than usual - but I didn't have the routine encouragement and I wasn't able to check in on…

CW: 164.2 PW: same. So I just got a Fitbit yesterday and set it up last night. It’s amazing how one little habit can affect my overall fitness. I’m still running my training schedule but I have no motivation otherwise. So strapping on this Fitbit today I’m hoping that will change. Happy Saturday everyone!

Thanks for feedback on the watch @conleywoods and @deniners2 I haven’t seen the Garmin vivoactive watches before. Still looking into them. @terytha your pic is inspiring! It’s a struggle for sure and great work! It’s amazing that our minds can find a new normal so quickly and not let us enjoy the accomplishment.

I busted the entire face off my Apple Watch yesterday 😬😫☹️. I’m excited to look for a new system but didn’t realize how much it’s been integrated into my habits - I even tried to put it on this morning.... WTW. So my steps will change significantly until I get a new tracking device. Looking at getting the Fitbit Versa 2.…

I haven’t read posts for a day and feel so behind! I had no idea lots of people used CBD oil. I’m constantly using ibuprofen for running pain or something and would like to try another option. @conleywoods - I love the gems from your book! Can’t wait to see the nutrition info from @YinxFed @micki48 - hope you feel better…

Happy Tuesday everyone! I found an article this weekend about setting small goals while everything is a little wacky: https://www.self.com/story/things-to-look-forward-to This helped me think of the things that I enjoy and scheduling time for that enjoyment - even when there’s not much else on the schedule. It helps to…

My good and bad of April Good: I set a goal to do some type of Pilates everyday either with the balanced life or on my own. I completed 29 days in April and will keep this habit. It makes me feel taller and more fit. I even notice it when I’m playing games with the kids or in my posture at random times during the day! So…

I’ve had quite a rough weekend. My husband and I usually have a few drinks on Friday night. Which is usually a good time but nothing too serious. Well I had 3 margaritas and I forgot how horrible that makes me feel. 🤢 it took me most of Saturday to recover. What a disaster. And honestly a good reminder for me to consider…
