I also want/need to lose 100 (or more) pounds. But I don't know about doing it in a year. That is approx 2 lbs per week. I am a HS teacher and wear a One and one "normal" teaching days I get around 8,000 steps during the school day. If it a test day and I am sitting at my desk giving a test it is down to around 3,000. So yes when you are teaching you do get in a lot of steps.

I send s request. I am getting back to tracking again on MFP. Need to lose 100+ Really want to concentrate on tracking what I eat and making healthy changes a bit at a time. Would like to be part of a group to keep each other motivated. Please feel free to friend request me. :)

I am looking for some support and motivation as well. Please feel free to add me. Starting up again. I have been back and forth with MFP and other tracking but I like the simplicity of MFP. Haven't used the community features but am looking forward to connecting with others on the same path.
