  • Same with Oatmeal for me. Don't understand it all, especially as it's a recommended breakfast pretty much everywhere you read! I get way hungrier an hour or 2 later. It also makes me feel bloated if I increase the serving size. That's why when people ask me for advice I tell them to try many things as everyone is different.
  • Happened me to last week. Trousers feel tighter, face is fatter looking, stomach is bigger than normal and frequent mood swings. However I know this is usual and happened before so just a case of getting back into my previous routine and I'll be back to normal in a week or 2
  • Fierce 5 is a good routine in addition to those above. Have a look on Reddit Fitness for workout plans.
  • Yea forgot to mention this, took advantage of one of myproteins regular offers and got some. Pretty good!
  • Thanks for the replies everyone! Some solid advice and good tips here which I will definitely try out. I did some research online and have decided to up my calories to around 2500 and will be starting the 'All Pro' workout. I worked out yesterday morning in the gym on an empty stomach and had a protein shake with a bagel…
  • I am starting the 'All Pro' workout next week which is only 3 days a week but intense. Will do my cardio on the other 4 days
  • 2000 calories. More concerned with what I eat after working out so I can make it to lunch without too much bother as I normally workout in the evening before dinner. I think a protein shake after plus a bagel with a little peanut butter will be enough. Some very good suggestions here and will try a few of the things you…
  • Working on getting lean! I have a lighter dinner as I need my energy during the day. I currently have chicken and mixed vegetables for lunch. Then in the evens it's usually a nutribullet shake and more lean meat or fish. My target is 2000 calories a day and normally stay within this no problems. I eat smaller meals…
  • Also on 2000 calories here. I have 5 meals throughout the day, nutribullet shake for breakfast, bagel with peanut butter mid morning, chicken and veg for lunch, rice and chicken late afternoon before workout then for dinner its another nutribullet shake and a meat source. That leaves around 300-400 spare calories so I have…
  • There is no right or wrong time to eat, every person is different. For me personally, I get hungry no matter what around 10:30am so I tend to have a smaller breakfast and bigger lunch. I also get very hungry around when I leave work and as I workout after work, I have a small meal before I leave work. I have a smaller…
  • Had a bad day yesterday and logged everything after reading this and the final number made me feel ashamed haha! However I now feel ready to go again and get back to normal. My trouser were a little tighter this morning but that'll be gone in a few days
  • For me personally, I get a little boost and feel motivated from it which will be the caffeine or a placebo effect however I find that having a cup after I've eaten or when I am not full helps delay any cravings or a feeling of hunger. I normally have a cup when I get into work which is about 45 mins after breakfast as I…
  • Try doing 30 seconds sprint with 30 seconds rest and repeat. When resting just stand on the sides of the treadmill and then hop back on. Be extremely careful when doing this as it is tricky. I would try 10 or 11 mph then move up another 1mph once you get the hang of it. 12-14mph should be plenty and you'll be lucky to last…
