Thanks and congrats on your first 5K. I am also feeling very happy. There are a couple more 5ks in the coming months but im not sure if im going to do them cause i am not a fan of running in cold weather

Thanks for the support everyone. I had a blast running the 5K it was exciting having so many people around me while doing this compared to my usual jogs by myself lol. I finished with my personal best time of 33:29 so I'm extremely happy about that.

It is a costumed race i dont know yet what im going to wear. Finding something easy to run in plus low make up so it wont get in my eyes when i sweat. And there will be pics for sure

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately i run in the morning but the race is at 7pm its a Halloween themed so i know it will be fun. And thanks i have been growing it for over a year now

I havent updated this in a long time. But i have lost 100lbs now and i completed the C25K app all thats left to do is run a 5K that i am signed up for on Oct 24th. Im excited to see my finish time cause i work hard at traing for this event every week. My genral mood has been such a huge improvement and other have noticed…

Completed week 8 day 3 now to find a 5K that fits my crazy schedule

W8D2 completed im ready for the 30 min challenge really need to look up a 5k to run lol

W8D1 completed first time doing it on a treadmill.. i like running outside better but it was nice to see my pace not just a close guess

Week 7 complete. I cant believe im going to be starting the last week. And very confident that with a nice slow pace i can complete this program.

I do C25k monday, Wednesday, and friday. I do weight lifting tuesday - saturday. Also i coach pee wee football mon - Thursday and it tough chasing them around sometimes. Sundays i do as little as possible lol

W7D2 complete started with a pace too fast but got it under control then sprinted when i heard that 1 min left but felt great to push myself.

Week 7 day 1 complete. Excited to try and push the pace on day 2 even though i had my nest pace so far.

Just completed W6D3. Felt better at the end of it than i did for the 20 min jog last week. I feel like im ready for next week of 25 min jogs.

I completed W5D3 today i cant believe i did it. I can say this was my first time ever jogging for 20 mins straight. And with that big jump i truly believe i can really do this. Im 343lbs 30 years old. This has been a year of change for me. So happy right now.

W5D2 complete..... i am nervous about d3..... how do you go from 8 mins to 20 mins it just seems like such a huge jump.

Im on week 3 as well and day 1 went slower as well but the point is to finish not how fast you went. I had some knee pain week 2 before i bought good running shoes so if you havent already i would look into good shoes they have made a difference for me

W3D2 complete pushed my pace while jogging felt good. Scary moment while jogging i saw a large dog with no owner strolling down the side walk towards me so i crossed the road. Finished day 1 of week 3 that last 3 minutes seemed to take forever, the uphill didnt help any. But i did it. Even better i felt when i was done ill be able to pick up the pace some.
