I’m 54 but feel 30something as I’m surrounded by people that age. It has an effect lol. I’m still working out lots but like you my kids are grown and almost all gone so it’s just me and the wife. Hopefully you’ll make friends on here to help with being alone .

As you’re working out your weight gain could be muscle as this weighs more than fat. I would also watch your sugar intake. Been there myself but I found cutting out sugary stuff very slowly has helped. First I cut out sugar in tea and coffee then swapped from sugary food to fruit ( if that makes sense) . Can I suggest that if you have any spare money even £1 you put it in a back up easy access account. Not really a budget idea but if you build it up then if something goes wrong with the car or an appliance etc you will have the cash therefore removing the stress.
