Offal is your best friend. Tons of minerals, lots of good protein and cheap. Just learn how to cook them well.

Not for me. I eat a green salad every day at work. It's never the same, cheap, and lot better than all the aramark crap they serve. I eat "real" food at night where I can cook whatever I want however I want it.

Even better, you can drink a kilo of liquid Nitrogen (Nitrogen is harmless, it's ~78% of our atmosphere). Liquid Nitrogen is at -196C (-321F), so drinking a kilo (~1.2 liters) you would need to burn ~230kcal to bring it to body temp. Your coroner will be extremely impressed with your lean (and exploded) physique.

I've been averaging 20k steps since the beginning of the year. I walk when I want to take a rest from biking, running, working out and other more strenuous activities. Even my vacation is walking in different parts of the world as sight seeing.

Do you work out? Cardio + Strength. Once you get in the groove, physical and mental energy is supplied in boatloads. Caffeine then will be a matter of choice, not need and definitely not "addiction". It just takes work. And time. And energy. And dedication. Nothing in life worth doing is easy. One step at a time.

I wasn't talking about wild "rice" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_rice) but black rice (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_rice) My indonesian friends brings it to me from his family's rice paddy. Can't get more "field to plate" than this

I can only really tolerate jasmine. basmati gives me the creeps. Everyone knows the highest application of rice is risotto... ;) I also like forbidden (black) rice. It takes a while to cook but the flavor is great.

Take the bread slices. Weigh them. Take a butter knife, spread a thin layer of mayo, return the rest of the mayo to the jar. Weigh the slices again. Is it even a gram of mayo? Personally I load my sandwiches with hot spicy mustard (http://www.loewensenf.de/sortiment/senf-klassiker/p/loewensenf-premium-extra-scharf.html)…

Teach your husband to cook meat? All adults (and kids post-puberty) should have at least the cooking basics down.

Reads thread title: "Science found a way to make rice healthier" Thinks: "Oh great, genetic science finds ways to pack a bunch of vitamins and extra minerals in rice" Reads actual thread content. Oh boy... there we go again...
