I get what you mean about how super careful you should be in weighing food etc. But if i am 3 cheerios over what the weight is because i used a 1 cup measure, its not like thats 700 calories i just underestimated; it can add up it its lots, but for the most part i trust the labels. Also...the "homemade" database…

I love how people who respond to nutrition threads like to attack people that ask for an opinion because they assume they are an idiot. ;)

Some of it, so to satisfy you, no.

Most are pretty ok, some people look horrible with em

2 months committed, longer before that but i wasnt as strict then Scale wouldnt move, neither did waistline
-
Yes, i have tried eating an accurate 1500 consistently for a good bit of time, at best that keeps me maintaining, not losing.

Yes, i know exercise isnt the o ky thing that burns cals. Thats what i meant by trying to only eat what i need
-
Side note... Sorry if it seems like im trying to oppose everything yall say... I really appreciate all of your tips n comments! I usually process new facts by thinking of other sides to the point, haha

My homemade recipes are only when ive measured everything and i know it is always the same. I use a mix of weight and cups. As far as issues with food... I gained weight much too quickly around adolescent/ early middle school, a little while after that i couldnt eat anything fried at all or id be sick, then i got several…

I do measure my food very carefully. Also I'm not extremely strict or committed to losing 1.5 lb per week; I take it as it comes. I would like to lose weight, but I dont expect it to be a constant rate because i understand thats not exactly how loss works. Also if My maintenance cal is over 1800, i still feel like that…

I weigh daily; I always state my weight as what is was the day before (i weigh before bed)

Walk around the house, jump rope, hula hoop, dance, cleaning, your pick. Anything as long as youre moving!

I dont have a designated leg day anymore; squats every day. But back when I studied dance, on days when I had 2-3 hrs pointe ballet id be pretty hungry; not sure if it was from the cardio or leg muscle part of it.
-
3.5-4mph walking (normal pace). Run at 8-9mph. I'm 5'8, but like 5'7 of that is my legs; I have a long stride.

If youve still got a ways to go on weight loss, i suggest starting with free weights instead of body weight. Use 2 lb dumbells and do simple exercises like bicep curls and tricep extensions. Youtube should be able to help ya out on specific how to's

^ what he said...not an old timey one. You can buy a relatively cheap electronic metronome like the ones used for drummers in practice

I lift, but im blessed to have a weight set at home. TBH i would be more nervous in the cardio areas of the gym than the weight room.

About temperature... I used to get migraines a lot, and temperature difference set them off quite often. Not only heat; for instance getting out of a warm car or leaving the house into the cold outside would make my head hurt immediately. Different things like smells and loud sudden noise gave me migraines too. In my case,…

A friend of mine had a similar problem when he was in his 20s-mid 30; would eat lots but coulsnt gain weight because of work and metabolism. So usually he'd drink a big mix of ice cream and protein powder after dinner. Also luck yall; i eat about 1000/day! Haha

Im trying to increase muscle, but not necessarily "bulk". Im trying to lose some fat around the waist at the same time; im not super wrapped up in the gain weight to gain muscle thing, i just want to up my bench press and slim my middle. Some people make that seem way too complicated
-
That doesn't inspire me. For one, if you've gotten to 600 lbs, there's a serious problem, one very different than your typical im-a-little-overweight-ok-yeah-im-fat kind of weight loss goal. You can be a good 50 lbs overweight and it not affect how you live your life; being 400 lbs overweight is a mental problem that will…

For me, not really. When i get in the habit of eating good "clean" foods, greasy or fatty foods still taste amazing when eaten, but they dont satisfy me; almost like i feel a little upset that i ate fast food instead of vegatables and healthy and freshly prepared meals. I still like unhealthy food, but its just not as good…
