Freaking AWESOME

Gay dude at work said I was looking good. He then apologised as he may have thought that I thought he was coming onto to me, and then he overcompensated by saying that he was sure my wife appreciated my fitness, which sounded even worse as it implied sexual stamina....and then after he realised that, he got all flustered.…

Ok...stating the obvious but the more people are involved....not sure I should (or need to) finish this.

Lol....don't get me wrong, it's great. I'm married and my wife is quite sexy so it's all good. An added bonus is that I tried to bring my daughter for a cycle or soccer game in the evenings so she is very tired and goes to sleep sooner...so no runnig into our room wanting to watch cartoons during our alone time.

Take a deep breath. Think of what you were doing when you lost it. Think of what you are doing now. Eating a little more and not counting it. Exeercising a little less? No magic formula. I hit the plateau myself a couple of weeks ago. Realised I was having toast for breakfast and then having a small 100 cal candy bar in…

Nothing to be ashamed of, a sign of health in every sense! Good for you!

I used to buy large/extra large. Last year I bought a medium fleece. It is now too big for me. I tried on a small which was a bit tight, but looked much better than the medium. Will shed another 2-3-kg then buy it.

OK, not sure if others have said it and I don't mean to be crude or vulgar....but...(and we all know where this is going)...your sex drive goes way up. I mean this is the best possible way as sex is the physical manifestation of love. Wife is happier too. I can't stress enough that I don't mean to be crude, but I can't be…

I knew I was losing weight when I started looking at my wife's boobs again....as I had lost my own man boobs.

I hot the plateau after two months, and have been there about a month. Eating well (but a little bit more than when I started), exercising well (but a little bit less than when I started) and noting everything I eat (except the occassional mini bar of chococlate.) Time to get back in the game! Thanks for the motivation.

Don't sweat it about the pic. Actually do sweat it. That's exactly what you need to do. You'll find this hard but it works. Build up to doing a 5km (3 mile) walk three days a week and combine this with healthy eating. Start walking. Obviously there is a chance it's hormonal, but let's be honest, that's just something…

If you want a laugh, google some of the pranks on people. It has been called the greatest prank of all time because it exposes both the ignorance of people and their good intentions at the same time. In short, it shows that very good people can make disastrous choices, but that's a bit existential for this.

First key to losing weight is to not beat yourself up. That's the single most important thing. Now as regards processed foods, some are good, some are bad, such is life.

Go jogging at lunchtime. I used to sneak out the carpark and go behind the building, cross a small footbridge which took me straight to the suburbs where there were no work colleagues. I know jog through thre recption area of my building and then on through the central plaza between the offices. I literally do not care if…

All headphones I've ever had since I was a kid break. Since you'll be working out a lot, get a few cheap pairs. You can buy a few pairs on Amazon at 10 eurs each. I've had a few of these and get about six months out of each, but I also cycle to work so yours might last longer if just doing gym work.

Don't beat yourself up over one piece of cake. Start again. Getting fit and healthy is hard. Being overweight and unhealthy is hard. Choose your hard!

Not sure if you've posted before either, but even if you have....AWESOME. Great job.

Stories like this make me think this is the best website ever. So many awesome people! You look great dude!

I knew I was losing weight when I was out for lunchtime jogging, bumped into my brother in law near his office and his jaw dropped! He hadn't seen me in 2 months!

Give me an A Give me a W Give me an E Give me an S Give me an O Give me an M Give me an E Wow. Great result.

Hi, I cycle in and out to work - 25 minutes in, 35 minutes home up a moderate hill, 10kms each way. 1 hour cardio each day plus I beat the traffic and I lose weight. Win, win.

All you need to know is you can do it. You can do it. That is a fact. Strangely the fact exists whether you believe it or not and this is the opposite of what motivational books say. They will say "If you believe it, you can do it." However we all gain weight because of eating more and moving less, not rocket science. So…

Hey Derek, you can do it. "If it is to be, it is up to me." I lost weight years ago and then put it all back on. I rationalised that I was charming and therefore didn't need to be fit to get on well with the ladies. However now that I am married I realised that being fit and healthy is a long term thing. If you find…

Kathy, you have the same problem as most people so here's the uncomfortable solution. Throw the junk food out. Seriously, in the bin or give it to a homeless person or something. You obviously are aware in the morning and afternoons, eating well, exercising etc. It's the evening time where everybody's willpower dies.…

I'm not a doctor but generally they say that exercise and weight reduction lowers stress on your back as your carrying around more weight. I have back pain, but it's no worse wince I lost weight, in fact it's slightly better. Infact if there was no significant trauma (sports injury, car crash, etc) it may just be…

Shredding in 30 days in extremely difficult. You will feel really bad if you don't do it and it will cause you to give up. Start slowly. Walk 20 mins in the evening with wrist weights. You don't need to sweat. DO this three times a week for two weeks. Then slowly jog for 25 mins three evenings a week. Don't do longer as…

Hi Tom, I'm also Tom, in Ireland. Don't view it as a battle, more so a series of mini battles. Aim to just lose 2 pounds in your first week. You'll be tempted to want to lose more. If you do lose more, great, but just aim for 2 pounds per week. I'm losing about 2 pounds per week, but had a couple of flat weeks. Then got…

It will take about three weeks to start but be absolutely honest about portion size, contents and exercise. Don't say "skimmed milk" if using semi skimmed, etc. Some tips to keep you going. 1. Set a target of just 2lbs or 1kg in one week. 2. Be brutally honest about everything you each. 3. Stick to a list when you go…
