Eat like 3000+ calories and workout. At first it's hard to get all the calories then you get an apitite and get hungry of you eat any less. Peanuts are great, if you eat one cup of peanuts that's 640 caloroes right there and offer good protien too!

It takes awhile. It is slower than you'd think. I eat 3,000+ calories daily, hit the gym a few days a week and take protein and I've gained 7 pounds in 2 weeks. But I hear a good average is at least a pound a week. If no results, eat more and lift more.
