I didn't get on with the 5:2 and the restricted calories on the 2 fast days. So now I follow the 16/8 fasting approach and am down 30lbs. It fits in with my lifestyle so well.

Didn't get on with the 5:2 so did the 16/8 and worked for me and my lifestyle and down 30lbs

Good to see so many people following the same 16/8 or 20/4 so easy to follow and the results speak for themselves. Anyone else feel so much more awake in the mornings?

I have been doing 16/8 for 93 days and am down 30lbs. Loving the simplicity of it and it helps me meantally not to bi he late at night after work as I have reached my cut off point. I tend to workout fasted in the morning when work schedule allows me to. Add me if anyone wants to as it's always good to read about people…

Peanut butter for calories and healthy fats and a protein shake if you can't get enough in with whole food. 16/8 is changing my life.

Thanks for all the adds guys. So much easier with like minded dieters to help each other along the way.

I eat between 12-8 and fast for the other 16 but have stretched it to up to 20 hours fasted not through choice but because of work commitments. Didn't notice any hunger on the 20 hour ones though. Good luck.

8 days in and feel much more energised and no hunger pains or cravings of any type. Massive thumbs up for 16/8
