That's roughly what I lost krista, set your mind up mentally for it, honestly it really helps, give your self something to look forward to along the way, I used to do this with buying new SMALLER clothes great feeling or build up to a weekend away, just stay committed and let's get this off, if you need any help I'm happy…

26kg's that absolutely brilliant, how much do you want to lose, anyway great effort, love to see that sort of commitment and discipline, I lost 38 kilos about two years ago mainly through running, so I know how much commitment that takes. Well done

You lost three stone, well done Sadia I did 5 a couple of years back so I know how much dedication it takes , so another 3 stone to go, you can do it, give yourself a mental build up of posititivity and then go for it, you've done three already so you know how to do it, plus of the kids are asking them you need to do it.

Jesus, I hate stories like that shay. I shed 100lbs and it felt great at the end, well there is no end because you need to keep it going to maintain. You can sooooo do this, I was picked on as a kid too, by adults funnily enough, I stress eat too, even now, but I know how to even up the tally when I've relaxed, you've got…

Hi fits, I lost just under 100lbs, and I did it relatively quickly, just keep it in your head tell yourself everyday "I'm going to do this" set yourself small goals and reward yourself for it, if you stop losing change up your exercise a little and you'll get the burn again.
-
I lost just under that amount a couple of years ago, and I got it off pretty quickly too, you can do it, it's all psychological, you just need to stay interested and reward yourself along the way, keep giving yourself goals that are achievable. Happy for you to add me if you like, I'm Chris from the UK.

Hi sevader. Great that you're making your way back to normality fingers crossed for you, I'm a father of a 14 year old daughter who suffers with this, would be really helpful for me to chat with you sometime

Hi, I'm law enforcement in Central London, UK, feel free to add.

Well done Karen, when I got that close toy goal I was constantly having to change it up to keep the burn going, almost there now, you must feel great for it too.

Hi, I was in exactly the same position as you once, I know how you are feeling but there is an answer, you can do this, just bit by bit a little more each day, you need to really try to box these negative comments off again it's difficult but you can do this I promise you, I was picked on by a family member and even…

I'm looking to do that Ashley, historically I've been into my CV but I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in April and almost lost my leg, so now I'm looking at focusing on weights (I have to do something) as I am still not weight baring, I tend to keep my diet clean when I am in full flow anyway, in fact a…

Go for it Mandy, I was unwell for a while a few years ago too and it's what really motivated me to get myself fit and feeling good about myself, I wasn't unwell for as long as you have been but I was at the point of having to write my will. I'm now sat here with a serious leg injury, I always almost lost my leg in a bike…

You can easily drop at least a dress size by August, times passing you by so get on it, you could quite easily surprise yourself with how much you could lose by then, really

I do one a day, made with water, it works for me, I certainly can tell when I don't use it, I use natural powder only, it definitely helps maintain my weight and it's convenient first thing in the morning as I'm always rushing, sometimes I'll do a couple of boiled eggs and it has pretty much the same effect but it's time…

Well done mate, I made my way back after being injured in the military in 97, long road but to go from being told I wouldn't walk again without a stick to running 20kms with ease was a massive thing for me, good luck, keep your head in right place and you're 50% there. Oh and I'm currently sat here now with a broken tibula…

No my leg, left hand tibula and fibula have multiple fractures I'm currently laid up right now with two metal poles going down through my knee to my ankle. I almost lost the lower part of my leg.

Good question alexia, I've also been thinking about this, currently laying here with triple fractures to left hand tibula and fibula, need to do something. Can I ask what ACL and MCL are.

Hi drsabeena, so what's the plan
-
When I get like that I usually have to change up my exercise and it seems to shock my body into burning fat again.
-
That run time took me a bit longer than the weight loss around about a year but I had the knowledge to do it because I was a bit of a racing snake before I put on the weight, basically got out of the military and just ate and ate and ate ha ha, so I had a good grounding to get it back but yes around about a year to…

You can do it, I went from 253lbs to 174lbs inside around 7 months, have to say it was all psychological with me I just thought, ate and slept weight loss and gym, cut all the junk out immediately and got myself out on some long runs, time didn't matter at first but I got my three miles down to 18:22 not bad for a 39 year…
-
Sometimes, with me anyway, my body seems to get used to my workouts and it stops having the desired effect, I'll change up the workout and it seems to shock my body back into losing the weight again, I'll also throw a couple of hard boiled eggs into my diet during the day and cut something else out, seems to work for me,…

I use that pacer and have done for the last couple of years.
-
Definitely, with going to the gym and having my pacer attached to this it gives me the option to consume more calories I reckon that's the best way to go njlegault.
-
I have my odd days where I'll struggle but generally it seems to get easier the longer I stick with it, I find a lot of it is psychological. Also breaking down the calories into a regular eating cycle of smaller amounts just seems to keep the hunger at bay a little more, provided you're eating the right things to keep the…
