I forgot to mention I tend not to like calorie dense foods. I really dislike things like bread, cheese, peanutbutter etc. I do like things like avocado and nuts though so I could try adding those. Avocados have just been so expensive the past few months. I guess you could say I'm slightly a picky eater. I don't like food…

-you upped your calories -you started antidepressants -you started a new exercise program. All 3 can cause weight gain. It could be 1 or all of them together.

The sausage roll would fill me up so I wasn't really concerned about that. Of course it is a lot of calories if it's not filling for you. I was more talking about the string cheese and animal crackers and such if I'm remembering correctly. They are good snacks when you just need a bit more but not so much if you are…

You really aren't doing terrible. I would suggest two things: 1. Try to find food that is lower calorie but also filling. You are eating a few very high calorie items thay are pretty small in size. 2. Your lunches seem to lack something filling. Which would make sense thay you are starting to feel hungry in the afternoons.…

It depends what your goal is in the long run. You can lose fat by eating in moderation and staying under your caloric goal. So if weight loss is your only goal then I'd look to just practicing portion sizing. If you are looking at making your body healthier. Clearer skin, smooth lips, fuller hair etc. Types of food does…

We have an extremely similar body type. Difference us I have a little loose skin over my belly button from pregnancy. I always said I'd be comfortable in a bikini without the skin so o say yes! You look great :)

Try some things like avocado and chickpeas. I have the same issue.

I rarely exercise and still lose weight. I want to though. My goal is improving health and less about fat loss. That included strength and cartiovascular health.

I love to drink water. I notice the difference when I don't. My lips get chapped, my face gets dry etc. It does have benefits. But I tend to be dehydrated based on my urine if I don't drink it, no matter what I eat.

A habit and an addiction are two different things. In an addiction the drug is either a antagonist or agonist blocking or mimicking neurotransmitters. Alcohol for example mimics gaba receptors. So if you drink too much your body believes it's making too much gaba and stops production. So if you stop drinking your body gets…

I'm having the same issue. I average at around 1000 a day. I have to push myself to eat 1,200. Not only am I not hungry but the thought of eating makes me feel sick. I find eating more frequently helps.

I gain weight before a big drop. Other than that I would just keep going and not be too discouraged. See how it goes for a few weeks. If you still aren't seeing change then maybe you need to reevaluate something.

@strong_curves MFP has me at 1290 to lose 1 pound a week. (I'm like a mm under 5'0 so I just say 5'0). I usually document about 1,000-1,100 calories but I don't count the numerous bites I take throughout the day. Many times I'll grab a handful of nuts or veggies. I'm trying to eat a bit more though. I've just been sick…

@JSurita2 I definitely think it depends on the person and why they were overweight and such. I know personally I generally like food low in calories like veggies, lean protein, fish etc. I also have always ate small portions. My issue was I was lazy. I ate out most meals. So that's why I gained weight. When it came to…

@deast12 glad I'm not alone. It feels so strange. I suppose it comes from the mentality that if something seems too good to be true it probably is. The only time I was sucessful at losing weight before was when I had jaw surgery and went from 136-126. That's only because I was not able to eat anything at all. So actually…

My stats are very similar to yours. And same exact thing happened to me last week. I've been diagnosed with low iron though. I started taking my iron pills again and the bruising stopped.

I find I eat less around TOM. I get migraines though so the thought if eating when my stomach is cramping like crazy and I'm nauseous is not appealing.

One of the reasons I go to a women only gym aha. Don't have to feel intimidated.

I agree. There's a difference between saying "I understand there's a common misconception that that works to lose weight, but here's how it actually works" And "Why the *kitten* are you doing that?" "That's not how it works" "What is "unhealthy" Seriously the majority of people on here either respond like an as*hole or in…

I'm opposite, I find it hard to eat enough. Perhaps focus on lower calorie items that hold bigger portions. 300 calories of salad with a protein is going to be a lot more filling than 300 calories of cake or chips.

I had jaw surgery and was on an all liquid diet for a week. I rarely get hungry now. I still do ocassionaly but it's quite rare. I'm more likely to feel dizzy or faint.

Cottage cheese and maybe a lettuce wrap
