Have you had your thyroid and vit d checked? My thyroid was messed up after 4 kids and nursing them all. My Vitamin D was REALLY low. I ached all the time, like I had the flu..only I didn't. Anyway, getting that regulated helped some. For me, calorie counting, does not work, my body reacts to sugar and bread, so I had to…

I work in a school. They families love me with food. Totally understand! I have been good since school started back, but weight loss feels so slow. I want it all off and I want it now:-) You can add me.

Did your doctor put you on 1600 calories? I was thinking men need around 1900, but it depends on your activity level and what types of food you are eating. 15 pounds in a week is quite a bit. Most people don't lose that in a month. How are you feeling? Any dizziness or fatigue? Remember too, that the first 10 pounds or so…

I am a fun runner, so I can't give the expert advice. I run for my health, for fun, for escape and just because I have always loved running. It's an addiction. Anyway, I don't know all the ins and outs and what to tell you to do, but I do know that following a plan helps tremendously. There are apps with training plans and…

Roast a bunch of veggies while baking a couple of sweet potatoes, while baking a pan of chicken and steaks (or grill). I also like to make zuchini spaghetti - just zuchini noodles, organic spaghetti sauce, chicken (that you have already baked) and some mozerella cheese on top, bake in the oven 350 for 20 minutes or heat in…

That's Awesome! Congratulations!

It's best to be fitted. Every brand and model is different. The shoe should fit like a glove when you try it on...if it doesn't, it will not "break in" to fit right, eventually. I would take them back and try again. Your feet will thank you! If you continue to wear them, you could wind up with injury (experience speaking).…

I love MFP, because of the fitness minded people. I can feel the virtual eyes rolling back in my fb friends heads when I post yet another post run selfie or something related to running or working out. I get my "fitness" need fed by coming here, rather than driving all my real life friends crazy. I have hardly looked at fb…

I am afraid to get too close to people...

I don't judge books by their covers, but that can get me into trouble.
-
That's NASTY! It's a waste product of our bodies and carries disease...gross
-
Not all people react the same to certain foods. Do what works best for YOUR body. As for feeling sick, Make sure you get enough salt, (some people drink a little pickle juice) potassium and magnesium.

-
Seriously, Mercelo? Here's a "knee-fie" for ya... Using the icing machine on my knee. I think I tore my meniscus running. Snapped like a rubber band. (I had posted a selfie way up there when I was cleaning house the other day)
