  • I second Jimmy Johns unwich - they also have delicious whole pickles as a side. (They will cut them into wedges for you) We have El Pollo Loco here - citrus grilled chicken which is zero carb and sooo good. But I think they are only in the west. Any grilled chicken would probably be pretty low in carbs though.
  • Hi @dizneedana :) It won't put you in a coma, but it is doing long term damage to your organs - so scary, but not run to the ER scary! Once you get into the endo, you will get more help and advice, but the people here are great at help and support. I'm sure some of them will be along that know more than me with additional…
  • I have the same macadamia nuts except with salt and the label is exactly the same as @briteyes posted. The real problem with those is sticking to just one serving! :)
  • Thanks! :)
  • Nice - that's a great one! I also love your new avatar pic, you look great! :)
  • I was sorting some pictures and just to compare, I put this together. The 2015 picture was just a couple weeks ago. The other thing that makes me happy is that in the first 4 pictures the top is an XXL. In the 2015 it's an M
  • Good Job! Yay for you! :)
  • Phoenix it's pretty much always summer here :)
  • I am wearing my goal pants at work today :)

I haven't seen the scale move for a while so I was getting a bit down even though weight loss was not my main goal. So today, I…
  • We get JJs at the office fairly often - I love it because I know they do the unwich and I don't have to over think it! The Lulu is my go to with added cucumber and onion - delicious! ETA: It also always seems fresh whereas Subway, not so much - at least around here.
  • There's no bad way to eat one! :) I recently discovered cut into chunks and added to chicken salad is pretty tasty. But usually I just eat them with salt.

  • I'm newly diagnosed so I am still keeping carbs low. I feel much more energetic and have lost 20 lbs so far so I think staying Low Carb is the best route for me. I may add in some fruit once I feel more stable.
  • Mine is also not that creative - my name is pam, last name is woodhouse, middle initial - you guessed it - J
  • Hi @kvsmith59 My A1c was 11+ and my doctor also let me wait on going to insulin. I did some research and found most diabetic nutrition sites do reccommend the carb levels your doctor gave you. I have found that I had to go below 40 carbs per day before my readings started to go down to more normal (for diabetics) levels.…
