  • I've had a couple of people tell me, "Wow! You're glowing!" Focusing not only on the physical aspect of my health but my mental health as well is starting to show.
  • Feeling more confident. When guys smile at me or open the door for me (all of a sudden happening more, hmm), I don't avert my eyes or dodge by as quickly as possible as though they've made a mistake. I make eye contact and smile back.
  • Went out dancing this last weekend and wasn't a sweaty mess.
  • I let myself give in to my donut craving during Superbowl. Ate at maintenance for the first time since re-starting my journey this year. Instead of throwing in the towel and continuing to eat junky yesterday, I got back on the wagon. Ate well, took my kids on a small hike and realized this is finally becoming a lifestyle,…

Not proud, not ashamed. Not beating myself up about it. Instead, all but one day I made sure to walk 10k+…

Didn't go to the gym but one time this week, but mostly kept within my calories. Felt hungrier, moodier, etc. this week so…
  • 🌈Finally glad to be taking care of myself in 2022. Took 6 months for me to get motivated to start- but here I am, and have to remind myself at least I started! My goal this month is to lose 10 lbs. Continuing to go to the gym 3 days a week (minimum) and stay active by going on walks in my neighborhood the other days.…

  • Typically the week after my period I will see a decent amount of weight lost, and then I will stall for the remainder of the month. It was really tough the first month because I thought I was doing everything all wrong, but I stayed consistent and then had a good drop. It has been consistently this way the last couple of…
  • I have a standing desk at work, and I like it. I also have the option to be seated in a normal office chair as well though. I will alternate throughout the day. If I am having a day where I am tied to my desk doing paperwork, I will stand. Otherwise, I will take walking breaks and typically sit at my desk as a break. I…

Up some water weight today, but I ate a lot of carbs and high sodium foods the last couple of days. Heading on a trip this week, so my goal is to bring…
  • I want necks to break as I walk past. I want to be sitting by the pool in my string bikini eating a juicy burger not giving AF because I earned it. I want to look like I belong with my beautiful, tiny, body-conscious friends when we are out at events. I want someone to offer to buy me a drink at the bar.

Shark Week just started, so we will see if I can maintain/lose with the water retention. My goal is just to not gain anything…
  • I work long days as well, and often find it's difficult to get to the gym... so when I'm at work I just try to stay as active as possible and ensure that I have fresh vegetables and proteins available for when it's my break/meal time so I don't overindulge. Focus primarily on the nutrition.. make sure you have your…
  • Yay! May seems to be flying by... where is this year going?! Anywho... (2/19) SW: 222 (5/19) Week 1: 207 (5/19) Week 2: 205 (5/19) Week 3: 204 GW: 160 Down 1 lb. from last week. The losses are little each day.. but honestly I don't care as long as it is in the right direction (DOWN!) The first part of the week I struggled…
  • Just turned 30! Hoping this decade is the best yet.
  • I stay consistent, no matter what. I make sure I am measuring/weighing all of my food and logging correctly. I stay positive, because if I really am being diligent about my logging.. the weight will eventually come off, it's just a matter of when.

  • Second week of May check-in... Feb 2019 SW: 222 May 2019 CW: 205 (-2 lbs last week) 2019?? GW: 160 Last week, I FINALLY broke through a stall in weight loss that I was stuck at throughout April. So many times I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, but glad I didn't. Trying to stay consistently (around) my calorie goal…
  • Honestly I would dial back the exercise and focus more on the diet. Sometimes if I over-exercise I become ravenous... and I undo all the hard work I put into the gym. YOU CAN DO THIS! Every day is a new day. :)

  • You look great!
  • SW: 222 CW: 207 GW: 160 Weekly Goals: Exercise in any form for 30+minutes x5 // Keep sodium and carbs in check! Monthly Goal: Get to ONEderland :) C'mon ladies we got this!
  • I am glad this post resurfaced... I'm not happy, as my face is breaking out like crazy, and I have not ever had any issues in the past with bad skin. I've not been exercising any more than I previously had been, simply eating healthier and losing weight. No medication changes, no skincare changes, no new detergents, etc.…
  • My highest logged day so far is around 2500 calories.... that was going out to eat and having a couple drinks + trying to be somewhat mindful of what I ordered. Before I started caring... I'd say easily 8k... it's horrifying when you look up nutrition facts for meals/appetizers at restaurants and realizing how many I ate…
  • You look great! Definitely admire the discipline... and the fact you're not just working on your outside, but the inside too. Think that's a great reminder to do. :)
  • I'd like to get down to 160... my lowest I was at 178 (5ish years ago)... and thought I looked good, but honestly the number on the scale doesn't bother me as much as how I look in clothes. OP, you look great at 193 btw!
  • Pure Fit Peanut Butter Crunch. They fill me up for longer than any other bar I have tried (even ones with more protein)... I think because it tastes better it's more satiating?
  • I am all about Pure Fit Peanut Butter Crunch protein bar along with an iced tea. The iced tea helps keep me full and the protein bar just plain tastes good.
  • I will usually just throw in a little white lie... "Oh shoot, I'd love to... but I just ate." Or a good ol, "Ah dang, I would totally but what I brought is going to go bad if I don't eat it today." Now the planned potlucks are a bit tricky. I usually sign up for a healthier dish, and load up on that and try to find a few…
