I hear you about the holiday awareness planning. In my past keto life I did lose alot of weight during "the season" It can be done, pals!! I relied heavily on small but fun non-food rewards for every three pounds lost. I remember keeping a list of things and pre-ordering them so they would be there tangibly to work for.…

Walked a mile and a half yesterday! One mile of it was all in one shot! So excited about that. Maybe some endurance is kicking in. This feels great.
-
Double steps for me today. Turns out that is about a half mile. A couple times this week I hit a mile or close to it. For Oct. I'm raising the bar to a mile of steps per day. Food days are still ricocheting. Two good dsys, one out of control...then vice versa. I'm still focusing on activity for now. I figure when I start…

So far, pretty close to a mile of steps again for day 2 of this streak!!!! Food not as great, but not horrible. Reading is taking over TV as my primary in- home pandemic activity, and so I'm getting a good dose of Martha Grimes mysteries for now. Another good day in my world, pals!

Made it to one mile of steps today! That is real progress for me right now. So happy. Also, food on target! Watched several comedies for self care today. Great day, pals!!
-
Double steps done. May do more...I don't know.

Hi keto pals! I can't say I'm active keto yet, but I've been trying for awhile now. I keep checking in here for inspiration. I had a great keto run about 3 years ago..then slowly, gradually veered off the path. I've lost a lot of ground since then in lots of ways; but I know I felt the absolute best when I was doing keto.…

Holding my own with steps and increased activity for a few days now. Food is...as always...a challenge. I think my thinking on this matter of good or bad days is counter-productive. I may try to reframe it as a wider range for success, so I'm not constantly judging my self as failing if i dont meet everything perfectly.…

So far today, I've doubled my steps. I forgot how much I liked my pedometer app! Looking good for food today as well.
-
Steps are done! A little over goal!! Also, I downloaded a new pedometer app since I seem to like tracking and logging. I may walk around some more to test it out. Might be ready to up the bar and raise the number of total steps. Alas, food choices today...not so good.

Yesterday was all good. Food wise. Stepwise. Increased overall activity. Also, I'm looking forward to check-ins again, which is nice. Am holding off on grocery shopping as long as possible to give cravings a chance to subside a bit more. Stores or ordering online can be tricky for me... Sometimes these body vs. mind game…

I did my steps yesterday and overall had a good low carb lifestyle day. That feels very good. I so relate to the late night food eating issues. Seems much worse since the pandemic... general anxiety maybe? Anyway, I'm checking in here more, logging vigilanty, and I see that as some more progress. Better days to come. Have…

I'm seeing this month as a lateral move with regards to goals. Activity is up a little, but not as I'd hoped. Did do my steps yesterday.... Still checking in here every day, reading comments, fighting the good fight. Hoping that the fire will kick back in for me soon and that momentum will take over. I may not always be…

I'm back as well. Happy to see some action on this thread. Keto is my preferred woe for so many reasons, and I'm longing to get right with my mindset and actions. This long term lock down is making the challenge soooo hard. The big challenge for today is a rare and needed foray to the local food market. Wish me fortitude…

Struggling with motivation and consistency. This past month I feel I slipped the most. I really need to make addressing this a priority, before even more creeping poundage settles in. I'm guessing I've gained about 20 pounds since March 18. I've basically been by myself, inside most of the time. It gets old. I joined the…

For September I'm still going to work on becoming even more consistent with steps and/or other forms of activity, and gradually building my way up to 5000 steps and/or other moderate level body motion. Also, zeroing in on a more effective level of LC/Keto for me...but not as extreme as I did a few years ago for now. I feel…
-
Doubled my number of steps today. So, after joining rather late in the month, I did manage to raise my level of consistency somewhat. And, that is what I hoped to do. On to September goals!!

Checking in. Ummm... not really happy with my progress over the last couple of days, but it wasn't a total washout. So, I'm planning to plod along and get it done today. I'm about 1/2 way through my steps now, and there's a good possibility I will hit my target today. Wish me luck, pals!

Did my steps today, and was just a bit more active overall. Also stayed true to my keto plan. Generally, happy with how the day went.
-
No increase yet, but still stepping daily. Very, very low numbers, but I'm happy to be consistant. Recently, sticking to my plans has been the greatest challenge. So, all good here.
-
Back pain is easing up a bit, and I got in my steps for the day. Might shoot for a small increase tomorrow! All good.

Naturally, as soon as i started this challenge a few days ago, I threw my back out. l knew the second I did it...not using my legs to pick up a heavy bag. Arrrrgh! Still, I have learned a lot of tricks to minimize the fall out, and I'm still going forward with counting steps, just taking a lot of breaks and not focusing on…

Late to the party, but still, I'm here now....Making a commitment to start moving again. Everything counts. This is day 2: counting steps, success!!
-
Yes. I have gained. The lock down started right after I'd had a month of real progress, and I regressed all that plus more. I feel like I'm settling to a better pattern this month, trying to remember all the benefits of low carb living. Next month...I'll hope to address the poundage and exercise. I've been struggling with…

Probably 5 at the outside, but 3 easily if I stray too far off plan.

Lesson learned: Don't push the river After two months of incredible health and weight loss keto successes, I arbitrarily imposed a social deadline on myself that I clearly wasn't ready for; even though I thought it would be good for me and would motivate me. Wrong move. It took me less than one month to undo all that…

Hi Kristy. Was trying to remember the name of an IF group I think you'd mentioned here...I could be wrong, but I accidentally deleted the group and now I can't find it. Let me know if you you know what group I mean and even actual name. Thanks.

Getting ready ready to travel this weekend. This will be difficult as the town is an eat, drink, and party kind of place. I'm committed to keeping food on track and allowing a few drinks. It will slow me down, but the food part seems doable and really needs to be prioritzed. Hope to dance off the booze calories fast.

Yes, I had a similar experience. And my sleep was affected as well. I actually like the feeling, because my previous carb diet and weight had left me sooooo lethargic. I started going out dancing a couple times a week, made new friends, was walking more, plus I was busier overall so that turned out to be a great time, and…

Hey, fitness pals! A couple years ago, I was a regular contributor here. I'm back, on keto again, undoing some damage from an extended visit to carbtown...which is a place I long to be, but alas...that's a no go for me... if I want to be healthy and happy. Just reclaiming my seat. Been on track for over 50 days. Have lost…
