I like broccoli slaw especially as a side with the frozen sandwiches. I also make tabouli,ratatouille, and Thai cucumber salad. They make a great change to the vegetable sides. I usually mix regular cabbage with the broccoli slaw because it is less expensive.

Hi everyone, I am back from Hawaii. I did not get any dedicated walking in except a short walk up to the lookout point on Halekala. I did go snorkeling three times and played in the pool with my three year old grand nephew. I was only home one day before I headed to Legoland with my granddaughters.

Got my mile in this morning and my suitcase packed for Hawaii. Off to get my nails done. Aloha.

Got 11/2 miles and two loads of laundry done by 8:30 am, the day is off to a good start.

One mile completed this morning before it got too hot and one mile this afternoon in the lazy river with the granddaughters.

Got my 3 miles in this morning. Part of it was a walk in a soft spring rain with umbrella another part was with the granddaughters one on a bike and one in a stroller.

Great report on the procedure. No driving and no exercise today. I am hoping that after all the chemicals and sodium get out of my system that I will be showing a loss. Nothing but sugar free jello and low sodium chicken broth all day yesterday. Back on NS now and only 10 days until I leave for Hawaii.

Got my 2 miles in this morning. Getting lots of steps in this evening running to the bathroom in preparation for a colonoscopy in the morning.

Wish I would have had my pedometer on today. The three year old decided she was going to take a walk around the park instead of playing on the playground.

You may want to check with a counselor. I heard that the Fast Five is not recommended for people with 100 pounds to lose. I joined before the Fast Five and even then they had me eating an extra SC and PF until I had lost my first 25 pounds.

Made it out the door at 6 am and got one mile in before I started babysitting at 6:30. Then did 3 laps walking the Lazy River at the water park chasing a 3 yr old and 5 yr old in life vests.

Miscalculation on my part three times around the lazy river is closer to one mile not three miles. But I did a lot of other walking inside the water park so I got in at least 2 miles today.

I walked three times around in the lazy river at the water park hanging on to a three year old and trying to keep up with a five year old who was bobbing along pretty fast in a life vest. I googled it a couple of years ago and they said it was a mile long. Now I am sitting with my feet up while they sleep.

I slept in this morning, did not wake up until 7:30 and it was already heating up so I only got one mile in today. Tomorrow I start taking care of my granddaughters at 6:30 am so I am really going to be walking in the early hours.

I got 2 miles in this morning, that sure stirred up the crap in my lungs. I was totally off plan the whole week my sister was in town eating out at restaurants or people's homes at least twice a day and my weight is only up 1/2 pound. I am thrilled.

You left me in the dust. I have been under the weather all week with a cold. I used all all my energy playing with the grandkids and taking my out of town company on day trips. Just got back from taking them back to the airport. I will start back on my walking schedule in the morning.

Good thing I did some extra miles last week because I caught a cold from my Granddaughters and I am trying to get my house ready for out of town company plus I have to drive 3 hours round trip to pick them up from the airport. I won't be walking today.

Got my mile in for the day also washed three loads of clothes (several trips up and down the stairs) and did my grocery shopping. I am really tired now and I watching my two granddaughters this evening so unless they want to walk, which is a good possibility, I am stopping for the day.

I got 2 1/2 miles in before lunch. Found my frozen food on my porch when I got back. I will do another mile this evening. My granddaughter loves it when she can go on her bicycle for a long ride. I will push the 3 year old in a stroller. The mile is too far for her still.

Got 2.7 miles in today. Slept 9 hours after my weekend with the grandkids. Think I will go do one more lap around the complex so I will have my 3 miles in.

Went to Sea World with the Grandkids today 2.9 miles so far. I hope it is 3 miles by the time I help unload the car and walk to my house.

Only got one mile in today. Spent the day caring for Granddaughter and taking her to the Doctor for an ear infection.

Got my 3 miles in this morning after taking the granddaughters to preschool, glad we are having a cool week.

Whoohoo It was still a beautiful 70 degrees after I had my morning snack and made my lunch salad so it could marinate. I was feeling pretty good so I did another 2 laps around the complex, that gets me up to three miles for today.
