Also candida in the gut can cause/ aggravate flare ups- perhaps a candida diet for a few weeks may help?

I would suspect these people may be carrying a few extra pounds themselves?! I agree that nobody wants to believe calories and exercise are the key to long term, sustainable weightloss... but it is and is clearly working for you! Very well done for making the change, keep it up!!

Do you take evening primrose, fish oils or vitamin E? I have also been taking Maca powder which balances out hormones throughout the month and has really helped. (It does have side effects- increased libido and my bum and boobs have grown... none of which has been a negative for me!)

I had this and physio told me to pull up my big toe so the tendon is visible and then massage firmly three times a day until it stretched the tendon. I t really works after a little dedication and relieves when it starts flaring up.

You can make a lighter cheese sauce using yoghurt on top rather than mixed through, stronger cheese also means you are satisfied with less. Perhaps half spinach and half macaroni with a yoghurt/ parmesan topping? Be strict with yoursefl but not too much denial- you have clearly succeeded before you CAN do it again :)

Personal experience means I would agree with the medication causing the changes- chat to your doctor as giving you a drug that is supposed to lift you but causes side effects (a common side effect of this drug) such as weight gain will negate the effects of the medication!!

There are a lot of anti-imflammatory foods you can include or increase in your diet-salmon, whole grains, garlic, cherries, kale. Fatty red meat, aubergine, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes can increase inflammation in many people, as can sugar. Hope that helps! Good luck.
