Thanks, all your suggestions are really helpful- I was curious to see what other people do but I guess it's trial and error on a person level

Don't buy the food and you can't eat it, obviously buy a few treats but then make sure the rest of your shopping is super healthy

I do breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner (sometimes desert), snack and it perfectly fits into my low cal diet :)

I've gone around 10 days without food and have found fasting as quite therapeutic, I wouldn't say I feel the benefits of a day fast but I could regularly do 2 day fasts and really feel the benefits

Hell yes, almonds and melon are quite calorific as well so it will make a difference! I even log chewing gum

My best advice would be pre-log the day before so you can spread out your food and still stay under your calories. I can usually get, breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and 2x snacks out of my calorie allowance which means I feel like I'm eating all day. Also try to make the majority of your calories come from vegetables and…

It's not dieting if your eating what to usually eat which for me is around 1,200calories so that's one of the reasons I'm eating less also most the food I like is low cal so to eat more then around 1,000 calories makes me physically uncomfortable also I find I feel much more sluggish and seem to feel more unwell when I eat…

No your stomach is slightly elastic as in when you eat a lot it stretches and therefore it takes more to get full however as long as you haven't pushed it too far eating less will make it go back to its original size and you will get full quicker

I'm on a medium/low cal diet so maybe I could help? :)

1,200 a day becomes easy and I often struggle to reach 1,000 now- if your making healthy choices (and only 1 portion!) it should be pretty difficult to get up to 1,200 (unless you eat constantly). Give it time as well, your stomach shrinks and you feel full on a lot less food. Try dinners like stir fry (150cals without…

I'm on a low calorie diet and looking to loose about 2/3 stone! You shouldn't need to be on a low cal diet if that's all you want too loose, just a bit of healthy eating should do it

Wow that's ALOT!

You don't count everyday living calories being burnt such as working because that's something you do everyday, this is a key mistake people make. You are here to make a CHANGE, counting everyday tasks isn't a change.

Make a big fruit salad and put it in the fridge covered, take bits out to eat for either breakfast or put in a container for lunch (this saves preparing meals everyday), it usually lasts about 3 days but it does depend on the fruit you use. Try breakfast bars? Quick and easy, if your still hungry pair it with a piece of…

If you eat under your calorie goal you will loose weight, I lost 2 stone in a matter of months (down to bmi 20.1) from eating under my calorie so it clearly doesn't hurt weight loss
-
If you don't eat you loose weight simple as, so if your skipping meals yes of course your gonna loose weight? And Yes your metabolism will keep going, your always burning calories it just slows sometimes. But not enough to balance the food you've skipped so overall you will loose weight.

I used to get by on 1200 calories a week (before you all freak I don't anymore), and it honestly isn't that hard. There's a mental barrier you pass through determination/hard work and you can just no longer see food as a need anymore but a treat. So it's as if there isn't any food, the same feeling you get when you are sat…

You don't have to reach your goal if you don't want to, if your not hungry then don't eat
