  • And... Brilliant! I will try both of these!
  • Try tai chi. It's gentle and helps to develop support for your joints. I prefer it in a class setting. But if you don't have tai chi school nearby, you may want to try Beachbody's "TaiCheng" which is supposed to provide the same orthopedic benefits through similar moves. Also, a good yoga studio will be able to help you…
  • Beachbody has great products. I like Focus T25 for a quick intense workout. The only equipment you need is a band with hand grips. One comes with the DVD set, but if you've both been doing P90X then you probably have another one already. Also, you can buy a subscription for Beachbody streaming video. It doesn't include T25…
  • I just want to add that the eating pattern NS provides on the tracker is probably ideal for appetite control, but if you try to stick to it exactly every day, you'll probably overeat out of pure boredom! When moving addons around, though, always make sure to distribute the proteins throughout the day. The proteins digest…
  • I finally tried the Arroz con Pollo. It's pretty much the same as the Red Beans and Rice but with chicken instead of sausage and with a few changes in the spices. Not bad. Also tried the frozen chef's table sausage and bell peppers. Not good. Couldn't eat it. :confounded: But apparently it gets good reviews.
  • Thanks for the boosts, everybody! Feels good to have you guys on by my side! <3
  • That's great news! Congratulations!
  • I lost one pound, which isn't much but GREAT news for me. After an 11 pound loss the first 3 weeks of NS, I hit a plateau and lost only 2 pounds over the following six weeks. So seeing a whole pound drop in one week is quite a relief. Cross your fingers that I finally got to the edge of this plateau and fell off the cliff!
  • Pffffft! It's not voyeurism if ppl are intentionally sharing. I'm with evhutchings and rlhealey on this one. It helps to see what is working for others and gives ideas for variety. So no, I don't know if you're creepy or not, but if you are, it's not because you read food diaries. haha ;)
  • And I'll try the cheese! That's new to me!
  • Glad you're here and doing great!
  • I think we all know by now that addin PB to the Spicy Kung Pao Noodles is The Thing. But thought I'd mention it just in case somebody's new... ;)
  • Oh, and please post with the how many of each category of addon your recipe uses, for example: Salad a la Caprese 1 tomato, sliced into rounds 1 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced into rounds 2-3 basil leaves, chiffonade or whole 1 T olive oil 1 t Balsamic vinegar (optional) Alternate tomatoes and mozzarella rounds in a stack on…
  • I really taste the beans especially in the lasagne, and it's fine with me -- one of my favorite meals! :)
