It is not a complete lifestyle change as you are only changing the foods and quantity of those foods that you eat. If a diet ecorporated elements such as daily exercise, increase in sleep, etc. it would be in fact considered a lifestyle change and no longer a diet.

Being very weary of what I eat. Record everything and I mean EVERYTHING that you eat.

It takes more effort and a longer time to prepare food in general.
