I'm having physio every two weeks from my local hospital (bristol) and I have to say the service has been brilliant, got a session on Tues and looking forward to seeing the progress since the last. It sucks for now I do understand but stay strong, and know it's temporary (although I know it feels like time is standing…

My stomach can literally go from fitness model to chubby chick in the space of one meal if I eat lots, it's unfortunate when you look great going out to dinner then youre left with everything feeling a bit tight after haha
-
I 100% agree with all of this.

I've just come back from 3 months off work /exercise from an injury and I will seriously say to try and avoid the pity party. Don't worry about losing just maintain and let your body heal, if you're already down because of it eating won't help the situation trust me, try and keep upbeat xxxxx

@middlehaitch It's 4 weeks Friday since the brace came off, muscle memory is serving me well
-
Mine constantly fluctuates between 4 lbs

This is what I try to explain when my friends tell me I should stop weighing myself and watching what goes in my mouth. The past has proven if I ignore both these things I balloon! It's a constant battle of staying self aware I find. But worth it!!

This resonates with me. I've struggled internally with this since my teens, only now am i emotionally mature enough to actually speak about it. I function just fine, it's not crippling (in fact how very self aware i am of how minor in the grand scheme of mental health my condition is makes it worse..) but it's always…

I do not care for courgetti. Courgette, yes. Courgettei for 5x the price, no. Just no.

@middlehaitch it's becoming apparent how far away it is as I'm now back at work and as a restaurant manager im very hands on and it's and real struggle but hey ho at least I'm back getting paid! I'll check in again in a few weeks x

@middlehaitch I promised updates, here ya go. 2.5 weeks AB (that's After Brace  ) and i've got some muscle coming back, and this week i've started putting some weight through it and training again. Very very gently and slowly, with physio once a week too! It still feels super broken and I can tell this is now going…

Oh and banana egg pancakes, I do these at least once a week!

My dinner last night was beetroot and egg curry, I absolutely adore this boiled eggs in a curry are so creamy I love it. I also have baked eggs a lot for snacks!

Libra works amazingly for me, totally stopped me freaking out by spot weighing and catching a fluctuation. I find the trend line and info very soothing!
-
Thanks that means more than it probably should haha
-
It gave me a great appreciation for those not able bodied! Having an arm taken away was a huge challenge it made me have far more respect for those who live with impairments for ever!
-
Yeah I could probably do updates!
-
Should have heard it go, was a hell of a crack ;) B)

Thanks! It's cool I know once I hit pole hard again ill get them back quick enough, I feel lucky that I've got an exercise that I enjoy so much that I can't wait to get home and do it! Just baby steps for now! I'm just so happy I didn't get tubby again!
-
I've just done 3 months with essentially no exercise, just be mindful of what you are putting in your mouth and don't fall into a pity party for one, it's very easy to do trust me!!
-
Broke it arm wrestling lol Thanks dude, yeah it's ok I know I can get it all back (full body has suffered) im just so happy to have the brace off and be able to move /work again! Just interesting to see how fast it withers!

I have come on and off BC a few times now in the last 10 years. I won't lie, each time I came off I lost. BUT I also had very poor diet before and that was the reason I gained. And I came off it because I had a break up so stopped eating! This time around I've come off it whilst maintaining and I've noticed a few things…

Haha thanks! Nice to have a random answer a year after first posting

Number 1, i wish my legs looked that slim. Number 2: I've seen so many pics of ladies with skin like that over lovely abs and that little pouch can actually make the abs appear more defined where it sits on them, woop! Goals! I would say do some at home exercise that includes body weight, Jillian's dvds are a great start…

I was responding specifically to the last paragraph? "I'm guessing I gained maybe 2 lbs of actual weight." :)

Sooo many variables... but my first question would be how did you increase your cals? Did you go straight from deficit to maintenance or did you gradually increase? Are you male/female - could it be hormonal? It could just be in your mind... (i take pics when i feel great then compare when i feel bloated just to calm…
