I can vote for pole dancing, it's an amazing all over workout

dissagree. Im a pear shape, i carry all my fat on my large hips, bum and thighs. Almost zero on upper body so for me, building some muscle on the top half has really helped to balance out the look of my body. I only do body weight exercise too, i dont lift heavy. Its made a really big difference

I only do pole fitness/ dancing as my exercise as well as the odd calisthenics session and as I'm advancing in this art I'm doing less and less cardio and more strength moves just through the nature of it, when you are more beginner it's more cardio based as you don't have the strength to do the crazy tricks! Thank you too!

I did slimming world in the end whilst breast feeding as they have extra portions of certain carbs and dairy so I knew I would be safe supply wise and to be fair it did work for me x

I won't be saying anything that hasn't already been said but here goes; Some people have a slow metabolism. I for sure do, my maintenance calories are a round 1500. And I've got a decent muscle mass too. I've been counting calories close to 6 years now for various goals and I know my body and diet very well. So yeah if i…

Ok so I'm in the pole community so i regularly train with very strong women, a lot of who are carrying a lot of excess body fat. Maybe about 30% on a women and yet they have visible abs. That's nothing to do with cardio. And mostly it's a 6 pack that you can see. Mine are more the long lines of ridges of abs either side of…

oh I wish my anxiety would allow that haha!

mine only measures in 1lb! I weigh each morning after calibrating. I like to watch my fluctuations and know how to expect them and understand them. (example, I put on a few lbs 10 days before I'm due on!)
-
this is a fantastic reminder for people who are being a little too caught up in it and then failing as it's too hard to be insanely precise, it's a ballpark fig. The fact is mindful eating this way means that you will lose, over time. you will still make a deficit, and as long as it happens every day then it all pays off!
-
not accurate in the sense of they say 10, clearly I'm not 10% but they read the same thing daily they don't fluctuate more than 0.2% between days, I've been able to track a trend downwards with them for the last 2 years. The 2lbs is a consistent gain that's been there through fluctuations for the last months weigh ins x

I had a section and I waited 3 months before i did anything strength based. you can do some gentle cardio, but it all depends mama! maybe your birth is textbook and you are recovered in a few weeks. may be you have recti and need physio.. may be you have tears.. must enjoy the last few weeks and see how you feel after! oh…
