I'm nearly 9 months pp and have nearly got back to pre pregnancy weight (1 lb away!) and I started at it about 3 months pp. baby weight was hard for me to shift! breast feeding made me so scared to restrict much!!!

never to late!! I LOVE handstands I do handstand February every year and am amazed at the progression every year! Focus on form form form and do wall assisted for as long as you feel you need and consistency is key!

Well ladies it's been a few weeks and I've lost a few lbs, so I'm eating just under maintenance and breast feeding so what I'm doing is working, just nice and slowly! My milk is absolutely fine too so that's all good. I've been cleared to exercise by the doctor too so I'm now feeling much better. For the person who said…

I hate to tell you but you can't actively look to lose weight whilst nursing, about half a pound a week is the most you should aim for and if you set your calories to maintenance and eat that then your breast feeding calorie burn will do that for you. Sorry, I'm in the exact same boat with 2 stone to lose but feeding my…

My fav go to ones: strawberry, coconut water, banana and vanilla syrup (sugar free) Or: mango, pineapple and orange juice for a really fast one!!

Mine are at 400 a day, my baby is 5 weeks old so I'm feeding her like 10 times a day (And cluster feeding often in the eve) so I log it but don't always eat that back... I'm only having a 200-400 calorie deficit daily and that's overestimating I think x

Hey! My baby is 5 weeks old also and I'm also breast feeding her!! Yay baby friends! Xx

Victim shaming, good job mate. HH boobs are massive, she would have to wear a tent got it to be baggy and hide them. She is posting in what should be a safe environment for some advice. If men had any respect for women it is a problem she wouldn't even have (cue the "not all men" brigade) Also I would suggest either doing…

I used the above calculator and it told me 2200 to maintain so I'm eating 1800-2000 a day. I've only been logging a few days as I only have birth 29th November and I sure as hell wasn't missing out on Christmas cheese and pate! But I didn't gain over Christmas so breast feeding clearly helped!

My girl is 5.5 weeks and I'm just starting to think about doing some exercise, I'm already back to mindful eating and healthy lifestyle. I've signed up for mum and baby swim classes end of Jan and will be doing a handstand challenge in February!
-
@AuisGold1 that pic is from the final day of handstand February last year, the first day was the first handstand i had done since breaking my arm a few months before so the progression was awesome! Looking forward to it again doing the same this year!

We should start a handstand February thread...ya know...in February!

I had major abdominal Surgery 5 weeks ago, had a baby cut out of me! Itching to train again but will settle for walks for now, better safe than sorry!

You may not be able to help baggy skin but you can full it with muscle! As soon as I lose my arm definition my arms start to look chubby again!

Well done for managing your intake so well through pregnancy, especially when your body is designed to store fat more efficiently whilst pregnant. However i don't really think any of us needed that reality check with what feels like an implied side of shame for over eating on what is clearly a support thread but hey, maybe…

My flow is still pretty confused, I'm over producing for sure at the moment! Hoping to have it settle soon, the leaking is too annoying!!

I was emergency c section so I may have to wait longer but at 4 weeks in I feel totally healed and have no pain left at all so I'm hoping to be signed off to starting to exercise and to drive again at my gp appointment soon! I know I won't be able to go back to my old workouts but just a little would be great! Thanks so…

Wow ladies thank you for your insights! I actually gained 50 lbs total but list 16 of these in the week i spent in hospital. It's nice to hear other stories, I feel better now! I've lost another 4 in the 3 weeks I've been home and that includes Christmas so breastfeeding is helping! It's wonderful seeing how happy you all…

Hey, thanks! It's coming back at 1855 which was my maintenance range pre pregnancy so that's nice and easy, have you noticed a change in milk production since watching your intake? Xx

I managed to go from a very dodgy handstand on Feb 1st to a very strong one handed by the end of Feb! [post edited by mods - please do not post private contact details or social media contact info - share via private messaging]

New mum here, I have a gorgeous little 4 week old baby girl who is just perfect! I have about 30lbs to shift of baby weight and I'm itching to get to it but I know I need to maintain for a little bit to bit ruin my milk for her! So temp maintainer here! X

Ok so I'm I'm second trimester and this thread just made me feel soooo much better about the 10 lbs I've gained!! I wonder how much of it is bubba!
-
I maintain so I don't "cheat" ever... I just eat. Yes I may eat more chocolate when aunt flow is hanging out but ladies, quit guilting over "cheating"! Xx

I'd like to weigh in. The muscles you already have can change and get stronger whilst on a deficit. As a lady, I'm not fussed about the "gainz" as such. As a pole dancer I want my muscles to be as strong as possible. My arms and shoulders look like they are getting bigger but nope, ive just cut some fat around them. They…

There is a lot to troll on this thread, a fair amount to of sarcastic comments I could make but no. Here's some words from a 27 year old who started smoking at 14 and has "quit" and re started many many times. Each time I quit (longer than 2 months or so) I feel the benefits. I realise I don't get sick. No colds. No cough.…
