What an absolutely AMAZING achievement!!! So inspiring.

@FlSouthpaw, It would be really cool if you hit that 100 lb mark by your birthday, but you've done an amazing thing already!! Keep up the good work.

Starting weight: 345.8 Current Weight: 257.6 2020 was a very disappointing year on the weight front. I first got under 260 on April 1, 2020, and have basically plateaued ever since. I got down to 250 at one point, but my upswings kept getting larger as well. That said, I'm pleased to still be under 260 after the holiday…

Hi! I've been neglecting the boards because I'm super busy. 2020 was an awful year for me. I had to work so much more, and so much harder and just never got a break. I worked so many evenings and weekends. Even when I had covid, I didn't get to stop working; I just had to work from home. I never got a break. And it all…

@miyano101 WOW...amazing job!!! You look so much younger in your current picture.

I had my annual doctor appointment last week and my doctor said my labs were "beautiful". She said ALL of them were great and there was nothing to talk about there.
-
Good grief. I hope you actually TELL them that it's none of their business!
-
LOL, Connie, I want all the fun workout stuff now!

I recently bought some new underwear and I probably should have gone down a size. They were fairly expensive, so I guess I'll be wearing them until they are baggy.

I saw this on my feed yesterday, and you inspired me to get honest, too! I've been struggling most of the year and I've wanted to blame my 9-month plateau on the year - on covid, on the never-ending extra work I've had to do, on my emotional state from the general awfulness of 2020 - but really, deep down, I know it's…

@Lietchi Thanks so much!!

They felt "uncomfortable" with your choice of food. At a restaurant. Where you get to order whatever you want. This is one I haven't heard before!

I'm dreadfully behind on these boards and just now catching up... Congratulations to @conniewilkins56 and @MuttiNM for hitting such great milestones! And @gewel321! I'm so happy they were able to remove everything. Here's to clean reports at your follow-up appointments.

@gewel321 I'm sorry your plans got messed up by covid! I remember one year when I was little that we had tacos for Thanksgiving. It was fun and memorable. You don't have to go all out if you don't want to. :)

I have been losing very slowly as well. It seems to go in streaks...other people noticing, that is. I'll go for a long time and nobody will notice, and then all of a sudden, I'll get a bunch of compliments. Regardless of what others see or don't see, you're 100% right...it's worth it!!!

@Rockstar_JILL You ARE a rock star!!!!!

I have been wondering if this is part of my long plateau this year (among other things). Although I'm nowhere close to my goal, I got below 265 which was a big milestone for me, and then down into the 250s. Both are lower than I've ever weighed as an adult, and a few years ago I was at a point where it felt like reaching…

Age: 45 Height: 5’4" SW: 345.8 lbs CW: 256.6 Super pleased to be down another big chunk this week! I think I've lost the bulk of my vacation weight gain now. My goal is to be back in the low 250s before Thanksgiving. Totally doable, but I do need to stay vigilant and keep making good choices. I am also very happy that I…

Sometimes I forget how lucky I am that I can afford a gym and that it's what I love doing for exercise. I don't really have a solution for you, other than maybe try finding some different workouts on Youtube that you like? There are also fitness places that have online subscriptions for their videos that might be cheaper…

@rieraclaelin You look fantastic; those 65 lbs have made a huge difference! Keep up the amazing work!

My sister is visiting, and usually that involves eating out and/or unhealthy eating, but I stuck to my healthy plan this time!

THIS. I can do much more now than I could at my heaviest, or even 50 lbs ago, but there are so many things I still can't do because of my weight. Whether there are weight limits or flexibility/movement issues, I just hate that there are things I can't (or don't) do because of my size.

I don't do Halloween. I don't have kids, and I'm a big fuddy-duddy who just doesn't want to hand out candy, so I don't. :# I hadn't really thought much about Thanksgiving, but I usually just try to exercise some moderation and enjoy the holiday. This year I'm sure I'll be at my parent's house, and it will be a traditional…

I bought some chocolate peanut butter candies when I was on vacation. They ended up not being that great, but after lunch today I grabbed the bag and ate a bunch of them anyway. Afterward, I came to my senses and threw the rest of the bag out.

Way to go!!! Here's to your next week!
