  • Avocado is a good step. I would try cooking your meats in coconut oil though, rather than using a cooking spray or something... it helps add in good fats, but you don't really have to use up as many calories as eating a real food source that is high in fat. If you like popcorn, use coconut oil as the butter! It doesn't…
  • If you like lots of food, try full fat greek yogurt with some granola. Or full fat cream cheese or ranch dressing with veggies.
  • I'm 5'5", and I'm only looking to lose about 20-30 pounds, but feel free to add me! I'm on here everyday if you need someone to "hang out" with.
  • Cheese strings. The full fat ones! And coconut oil.
  • I really like the cookies n cream one, and the white chocolate raspberry. I just picked up a s'mores one, but haven't tried it yet! whatever you do, don't eat them cold. I made the mistake of putting mine in my lunch bag in the fridge at work and it was like eating a piece of leather, haha. I usually stick it on my…
  • My favourite BCAA is Mutant's and the Blue Raspberry flavour is awesome :) the only other one I've tried is Cellucor's in Watermelon, which I don't find works as well... tastes like jello though lol
  • Cellucor and Mutant are my favourites. Cookies n' Cream and Birthday Cake flavours are awesome.
  • Also, you can try drinking BCAAs if you like to lift. It helps with protein synthesis, so it aids recovery as well. ☺
  • I find protein snacks like whey protein shakes or protein bars (I personally like Quest bars and Pro-Max bars, and Mutant and Cellucor powder). I find I can't eat enough to get the amount of protein I need without using some sort of supplement!
  • Hey ya'll. What type of tips are you looking for?
  • Hello! I'm 22 and have had Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) for about 5 years now. Chronic pain and fatigue and a whole lot of other stuff that just happens to go along with it! It can be tough and there are days where you have no will to get out of bed, but I find weight lifting has actually helped me…
  • Protein powder/bars aren't super low-cal, but they offer a tonne of protein so they're great to include with breakfast or as a "dessert". Eggs/egg whites are probably one of the best, though! And greek yogurt is definitely a nice high-protein snack (Freeze it, then blend it with some fruit!).

  • Lifting heavier weights is usually the best way to tone legs. :) Not necessarily a class, but just venture in to the weight section of the gym and do some squats!
  • If you have full breasts and a smaller band the cup size is going to remain quite large! I have fairly small breasts (no one would even think they were larger than a B or C cup) and yet when I buy bras, I get a 32E. It's all because the band is smaller, but the fullness is still there. The brand and style also make a…
  • Yeah I've never understood this. You can burn just as many calories doing an intense weight-lifting session as you can with cardio - probably burn even more with weight-lifting. They really need to find a way to log it!
  • I'm female, 22, and have a few pounds to lose. I get almost 2,000 calories a day. 1200 in completely unrealistic. You body will burn more calories than that without you moving. I would look up your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and see what it is, and then that can help you determine what to eat. I burn about 1,500 calories…
  • Watching youtube videos is great. :) That's how I started! Heidi Somers and Nikki Blackketter usually post good workout videos, if you wanna follow them!
  • Cellucor or Mutant - I find that they are both good in the tummy department. I've gotten that awful gut feeling with a few (don't remember the names), but both of these brands have worked well for me.
  • Strength first. I always stretch and warm up with light weights, or body weight (for movements like squats) and then move on to heavy weight. Lifting still burns a tonne of calories, so I usually lift 4-6 days/week and then do cardio every 2nd or 3rd day. :) If you prefer cardio first though, there isn't really a right or…
  • I find cheddar cheese is easier on my tummy than most of the other ones, so if you're not super lactose intolerant you can try that. As for my calcium source, there are actually a lot of lactose free milk and yogurt options. They're usually in the regular dairy section, and they just have a lactose free label on them. :)…
  • Hey there! Exercise isn't 100% necessary... but it is definitely super helpful. If you're looking for more muscle tone, as well as weight loss, you should try lifting weights. Cardio (running/jogging, elliptical, etc) will help burn calories, but you can burn calories and build some lean muscle by lifting weights. Also, by…
