Me too hope blossom. I know that I'm not always eating right but the weight goes on so quickly after 50 and comes off so slow. It's like I have to eat half as much I guess it's really a tough habit to break to reduce portions. Will keep trying too.

Hello. Looking for motivation and thought a group might help. The weight keeps creeping the wrong direction this past year. Just had thanksgiving in Canada which means over eating. Oops. I have 2 teenaged boys who can eat anything pretty much because they are so active - so there are always too many tempting snacks around.…

I agree with everyone that , After 50 , the previous tactics of cutting back and excercising don't have the same results they did before. And even an extra 5 lbs goes right to the waist and clothes don't fit And of course What to do with those batwing arms??

I love the "pant" motivation. I call them "incentive clothes" when they are just that one size too small and if they are ver cute it helps. Junk food in the house is a major problem with 2 active teenagers in the house who can eat whatever they want. Yes. We should all be eating healthy but they can afford the treats more…

Me too! Does he like tennis, pool, even table tennis? Something that is more of a game than an exercise ? I am in same boat and my hubby used to play and be good at tennis. I think that many of us with kids can relate to this. We put our kids (and our jobs) and our other obligations first and ourselves last. Someone once equated it to the instructions you get on an airplane flight that if the oxygen masks drop down, put your own mask on first , then help children and others. It makes sense…
