Don't go more than 2-3 hours without eating unless your sleeping. Of course you still have to eat nutritiously or it's just a waste of time.

I might suggest you try eating 5-6 smaller meals instead of loading up just 2 times a day. Those long periods of going without food turns your body into a storage facility.
