Probably part of the big internet hack currently going on. Lots of sites are affected.

Texas Hash is always a cheap go-to meal and it's simple. You can make healthy by using lean ground beef/turkey/chicken. Here's a straight forward recipe: food.com/recipe/texas-hash-330481 Also, I find lentils are a great option, especially if you have a bin of veggies you need to use up before they go bad. They work with…

Sometimes I will eat one for a quick breakfast, but never as a snack. Too many calories.

I just posted this in another thread: Parmelet stuffed with a little steamed broccoli and a few chunks of Tyson cooked chicken breast (google "parmelet" if you want to see how that's prepared - it is delicious!)

I love to make chili but don't really use a recipe, per se. Brown some some chopped onion and green peppers and ground beef/turkey/chicken. Add cumin and a variety of chili powders (depending on what kind I have) and let that toast for a minute. Deglaze with a half bottle of a nice beer (something dark, or even a Shiner…

I like to roast a big pan of chicken thighs and drumsticks with various vegetables (onions, mushrooms, beets, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, etc. - whatever is in season and looks good) all tossed with a little olive oil, herbs and seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, maybe even some curry). I can eat…

Here is my spaghetti squash recipe. It is really more of a weekend recipe as it does take some time to make, but it's not difficult (just time consuming): Chicken Sausage and Spaghetti Squash Lasagna Ingredients: 1 spaghetti squash Approx 1.25 lb ground chicken sausage (or plain ground chicken with sausage seasoning -…

Amy's makes some organic, low sodium soups. They are generally in the "health" or "organic" section. Also an excellent low sodium canned chili

Excellent tip! I love roasted radishes but have never considered using them as a replacement for potatoes in a stew or pot roast. So great to learn a new trick!

Like others have mentioned, LENTILS. I like to simmer lentils (usually with barley for an texture twist) in low fat, low sodium chicken stock with lots of different sauteed veggies and fresh herbs. Great for lunch or dinner, and even breakfast! Tomorrow, I'm going to do a sort of "shakshuka" with the last serving of…

This is my favorite chicken recipe on the planet. The recipe calls for thighs which are the best way to make it, but we have also made it with small breasts (pounded thin) and drumsticks. Just adjust the cooking time. You can also skip the green sauce if you can't spare the calories, although it's delicious and really…

A grapefruit, plus a boiled egg. My go-to snack at 3:00

This sounds great actually. Is there a recipe, or is that pretty much all there is to it?

You bring the wine

Tonight, it's lentils (which I loooove), made with sauteed onions, carrots, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes and various spices, including curry powder, cooked in low sodium vegetable stock. I like to make a big pot to eat on throughout the week, especially for those nights when I don't want to cook.
