Hi I'm also 5 feet tall. My starting weight was 223 and now I'm 184. My first goal is 165, which is what my doctor said to aim for. I'd like to get to 125-130. So the medication can make you feel hungry? My meals aren't carb heavy really but my snacks are, and I snack a lot. I'm going to change my diet a fair bit - more protein and fibre. I'm looking forward to this!

I just had a slice of cheese and am no longer hungry. Normally I would have had a cookie for the same calories but it's obviously unhealthy. I'm definitely going to look into having more protein. Does sweetened low calorie yogurt count as protein?

I've always eaten when hungry since I've been counting calories, and I try to exercise to make up for eating too much. There's only so much exercise I can do though. Thanks for your responses. I actually eat very little protein so maybe that's part of the problem. I might have a piece of chicken in my dinner and a sandwich during the day with a slice of cheese or luncheon meat (very small slice) but that's about it. I had a body fat percentage check recently. It was a very high number but what I expected. I do exercise a fair bit but only cardio. I would like to get my body fat percentage checked again but not until I've lost a lot more weight. Thanks for pointing out I should keep my body fat percentage in mind.

I put some clothes on layaway/layby two months ago. On the cardigan the buttons were strained as it was too tight. When I picked the clothes up the cardigan fit perfectly! Yay for smaller boobs :)

Thank you so much! That worked perfectly. I spent ages trying to figure this out lol. I see what you're saying but I was cooking rice for my family and so made a large amount, then just measured out my serve once cooked.
