I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes almost two years ago. I lost nearly 40 pounds but recently gained back about 10 pounds, so am trying to lose it again. Got a bit slack with avoiding sugar so am back to being strict again. Feel free to friend me if you want :)

I'd like to save up for a Blaze with the stainless steel wristband. I hate the rubbery band of my Charge HR, but love the functionality of my Fitbit. So a Blaze with a lovely band would be great and I imagine it would last ages. The rubbery bands just won't last ages, especially wearing it all the time. And while I agree…

I figured out the problem. Yesterday I lowered my kilojoule goal to lose weight faster. I saw this note on the website, which I didn't notice before: "Fitbit Kilojoule Adjustment Your adjustment has been reduced to keep your goal above our 5021 kilojoule minimum" So that's why there was no negative adjustment. My bad :)

I understand what you're saying. At the time I did check the numbers, and there definitely should have been a negative adjustment. I've had a Fitbit for a year, so I'm used to how it works :) I slept in today so wasn't active in the morning. I wasn't very clear - I meant I woke up late and didn't exercise or was active, so…

Hi. I'm Mona and I live in Australia. Heaviest weight - 101.5 kg Current weight - 86.5 kg Goal weight - 80 kg I'm 5 feet tall. I've been counting calories since March 2014 and started using MFP in May 2015. I've lost 15 kg so far, in almost 2 years. My goal weight is much too heavy for my height but my doctor says it's…

Fitbit is syncing with mfp just fine, it's just that mfp isn't giving me a negative adjustment like it should. My steps and calories burned from Fitbit are all there in mfp.

Thank you! Sorry I didn't see your post earlier about closing in the challenges thread. Glad I got in!

Hi I posted my weight on the form but just got accepted in another challenge. Sorry I thought they were closed. Please delete my entry.

I hope I can join. My weigh in day is Wed and I was 86.5 kg on 12/30.
-
I'd love to join! I weigh in on Wednesday.
-
I sent Fitbit support an email with the picture and will see what they say.
-
Thanks. Explains why I can't join :(
-
I can't see it either. Is it only for people in the US?
-
I ended up logging it as 1000 calories. Thanks guys.

Thanks. For some reason I thought saffron was fattening. I lowered the calories for the rice but still have a high calorie count for the meal, so hopefully it's enough.

You've done an amazing job and you're so pretty :)

Wow great job! :)

Great job! Shopping for new, smaller clothes is awesome.

When it's a hot night here in Australia I sleep on the couch because my bedroom upstairs gets too hot. Last spring I couldn't fit on the couch very well. Even though I haven't lost much weight in the past year, I fit on the couch much better now! I lost some weight and started exercising in January, so I guess I'm a bit…

Great job! It must be a great feeling. I'm a third of the way there :)
-
I'm a long way from liking my body but my feet got smaller and I can fit in my old, pretty shoes again :)
-
Well said. I love this journey and the people on MFP can be so lovely and helpful :) <3
