Peel and slice into medallions. Little olive oil, S & P and then throw them on the grill. Turn occasionally until cooked through, then toss with a dressing made of cilantro, salt, a little garlic, and lime juice blended together.

I'm there with you too! I was just diagnosed and we're trying for a baby, but I'm focusing on losing weight before I try any of the fertility drugs.

Not a big veggie eater either, but I've found some I love. Spaghetti squash is high on my list, so few calories and I can substitute it for noodles in a lot of dishes!

Thanks! After talking to my gyno on Monday I realized I had the symptoms since I was in my teens too (32 now). They put me on BCP then, but I just recently went off them and don't want to go back on. I'm going to try losing weight before any of the drugs.

My husband and I are having the same baby discussion, and apparently knowing that it's going to happen soon is my motivation. Everything I have been reading is telling me the more I weigh the harder it'll be to conceive and the harder the pregnancy would be. So every time I feel like going crazy, I remind myself of that…

Welcome! I'm in he same boat as you, been overweight all my life. Trying to get a bit healthier before DH and I try starting a family.

Hi! It's definitely not easy to return to something like this, but we can do this! I'm 32 and 260. Lost 70 lbs about 6 years ago, fell off the wagon and gained it all back and then some, now I'm working on 100+ lbs.

I grew up eating cottage cheese with just some Season salt on it (and still eat it this way now). I'll also make some egg noodles with a little butter and cottage cheese on them for lunch sometimes.
