My step it up challenge is to move at least 30 min a day most days. I work on my feet all day and have been making excuses about exercising. Walking, yoga, strength..... just some form of exercise.

I also had this experience. The diabetes educator told me not to exercise if BS was too high. I find all of their advice to be very confusing. The nutritionist was anti LCHF. Anyway... Glad to finally have some answers.

Sending FR. I also started last year and was discouraged by diabetes educator and nutritionist. But here I am a year later with even more to lose (70) and out of control T2D. Have an appt with new doc on Sept. 6. We'll see what she says. Looking forward to seeing your posts and success.

Yes. Thank you. She came slinking out of the woods around 3;30 am. No concern for the panic she put me through. Haha. I have been meaning to take the time to separate my food and my son's food in the fridge and cabinet. I think I found my motivation.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not sure what I am aiming for yet. Just really hoping to avoid insulin. I picked 40 as a starting place but I was counting total rather than NET carbs. Will focus on that for a while and see what happens. Any and all advice appreciated. Getting lots of great ideas from reading this board.

Hi. I was veg but have added small amounts of meat to get more protein. Have been confused /concerned about carb counts in beans and vegetarian protein alternatives. Would love to get meal ideas. I am down 35 with 50 to go.

I'll do it with you. I have done it before and got to day 5 or 6 then missed a few days and never started back. I like her videos. No pressure to do a "perfect " pose.
