Two successful fast days done and dusted!!!! Today I'm off for the first day of my new job. I'm exhausted after a double shift yesterday so it'll be an interesting experience lol.

I know you're not pregnant, but each time I was pregnant I copped morning sickness 24/7. I constantly felt nauseous and vomited minimum of 9 times daily. The puppy is a 12 week old jack Russell x miniature foxy. So he's only tiny. But he's so naughty!! Trying to keep him resting is virtually impossible. The poor dog is living in a portable baby's cot.

Oh no!!!!! My puppy who is 10 weeks old jumped kamikaze style off the couch and broke his leg!!!!! Today is a fast day. I'll be at the vets most of today anyway. My poor fur baby.

Now that I'm getting a bit heavier with my deadlifts, the plates are banging towards the end of my set. Oops sorry but thankfully I'm the only one there at that hour lol. The weights banging on the machines though? Urgh I hate that.

I'm not a teacher, but have you thought about going before work? I start work at 6am and I go to the gym at 4.30am. This way I don't have to worry about getting the energy to workout afterwards :smile:

It's Monday here and everything is finally starting to settle down again. School has gone back so the kids are out of my hair, my work roster is steady again and I'm getting back into my exercise and fasting routine. Really? I've always been told that strength training by lifting heavy continues to burn calories afterwards. Whereas cardio burns plenty while doing it and then none once stopped. I could be wrong though. I may have to do some more research. Anyway to the op? Yes! Lifting is great!!!! It's empowering and is awesome for us

I use a lot of the Spotify pre done playlists. My favourite one atm is korn another brick on the wall parts 1,2 & 3. Oh and funnily enough one called lawn mowing playlist

Yes I assumed it was a universal rule. However not everybody follows it. I ignore people if they speak to me while I'm in the middle of a set. So I guess I probably would look unfriendly to them.

I'll say hello or good morning to people when I pass them at the gym. To me that's manners. However I won't talk to people in the middle of a set. That's either their set or mine.
