  • Breakfast: cinnamon raisin toast with a tbsp of light peanut butter and a 12oz fruit and yogurt smoothie (homemade). Lunch: some kind of deli meat or my new favorite a chicken and carmalized onion with smoked Gouda chicken burgers (from Costco 150 cal) with a slice of provologne cheese and a tbsp of light mayo, tomato and…
  • I got a good scale from Walmart for under 10.00 I'm pretty sure. I agree with the other posters weigh and measure everything you eat to be sure you are tracking accurately. As for the hunger issue a few tips: 1. increase the amount of protein in your diet, for example have eggs, salmon, peanut butter or the like with…
  • Seasoning, hot sauce, ketchup or mustard. Single bites or tastes of food when cooking. I rarely eat back exercise calories and am still losing above my weekly goal so until something changes I'll stick with this.
  • YouTube is awesome. I'm a water baby and go to the gym 5 days a week for water aerobics but during TOM I'm all YouTube. I'll do Yoga one day, walking in home, zumba, hip hop dance, and body weight exercises all in my living room for free. I understand not "needing" to exercise to lose weight but for me, in order to create…
  • 5'3 down 10lbs since 5-11-15. Eating around 1450 calories per day and 45 min of exercise (water aerobics, zumba, treadmill, weight circuit or YouTube videos) 5-6 days per week. Goal weight for me right now is 150. I started at 290 and am currently 278. Long road ahead.
  • So I had planned 20 min of walking during my monthly visitor but did even better than I had expected. Sunday - 20 min yoga. Monday/Tuesday - 20 min walk away the pounds. Wednesday - 20 min Zumba and Thursday - 20 min Hip Hop aerobics. This is the first time in life I have done planned exercise during TOM! I'm back to the…
  • Water aerobics or aqua zumba! Loss impact so easy on the joints. I love it!
  • I budget calories for a jack and Pepsi most every night it's Kentucky girl wine lol. The only restriction I have is that I must drink all 4 of my bottles of water for the day before I can have it.
  • I'm a working (40 hours per week) SAHM. I have a 4 year old and 15 month old at home all day and a 7 and 17 year old at school then home. It's a real challenge just working while the toddlers are going nuts all day but meal times are simple as we are on a pretty good schedule. I plan and so on Sunday for the whole week so…
  • I have overcame my TOM workout paranoia. I usually flat out refuse to do anything during TOM because I have endometriosis and a lot of pain. Yesterday I did 20 min of Yoga and today a 20 min 1 mile walk! First time ever being active during TOM, I'm so proud!!
  • I'm new to the challenge as well. My goals for this month are: 4x45 min h20 aerobics classes per week 1x55 min zumba class per week (During TOM - YouTube yoga and stretching plus a 20 min walk on normal h20 aerobics days.)
  • Lost 80lbs some years ago with weight watchers. I primarily did water aerobics and walking for exercise. After 12 years with PCOS and infertility I lost the 80lbs and was knocked up without even trying lol (had sex one day that month). Now two beautiful kids later I'm back on my journey, this time with MFP and same…
  • I have a Jack and Pepsi most nights. I enter it in the tracker in the morning before I even start eating so this calories are already gone lol. I make sure to get all of my water in through out the day and if not then I won't have my drink. I don't remove it from the tracker though, i just drink two on Saturday lol it…
  • I bought Slim in 6 years ago and have done it several times (as my weight has yo yo'd several times). I saw very noticeable changes in my body shape even though I didn't lose a lot of weight but I wasn't focused on nutrition like I needed to be either. No info on the shakes.
  • Just getting started has helped me tremendously. I track everything and get some form of exercise 6 days a week. Every morning when I step on the scale I see some movement which inspires me to keep going. I read the success stories on here sometimes twice a day and that helps as well. The first step is taking the first…
