You don't need a blender. You just need a large shaker cup with a secure lid that doesn't leak. And also... Put the liquid in first, protein powder last.

Optimum nutrition isn't the best choice for flavor. It is however highly marketed so everyone always recommends it. The best "tasting" brands are the ones you've never heard of... Check out PES Select or XF Ultra Peptide 2.0 ~ neither brand is spiked; both are pure.

That all depends on what you consider high protein. Also, I did state that people who eat high protein also tend to eat high fat. But in order to answer your question accurately, I will need your height, weight, activity level, and body fat %. Are you bulking, maintaining, or cutting? Do you lift weights? Are you actually…
-
True, but the Paleo community (which it seems you are targeting) typically makes up for those calories with high fat foods... Not grape jellly, wheat bread, and broccoli.
-
If someone is cutting or maintaining and consuming more than 0.82 grams protein per lb. per day, then they are likely deficient in daily fiber and several micronutrients. If they are bulking, then it's probably not an issue.

Much of the food that has been discussed isn't even Mexican cuisine; it's Southwestern aka. Tex-Mex. Some examples of fine-dining style authentic Mexican cuisine, which would hardly be considered cheat meals... https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/editor/6p/cq16yjguy1uk.png As you can see, full of fresh organic produce,…

Not really since chicken is a lean meat without a ton of connective tissue like a marbled Ribeye steak. No, but common sense is remembering the basic concepts of heat/expansion - cold/contraction that we first learned in grammar school.
-
Did you read the science behind the article I posted? What actually happens to the egg and shell when plunged into hot water and shocked with ice water? It's not craziness... It's science. And beyond that it's common sense.

On the topic of lifting, you should be doing a full body routine such as Allpro. Check out the bodybuilding.com forums and look at the stickies in the workout programs section.

Cool. Glad it worked for you!

It's not the presence of bacteria that makes an aged steak more tender; it's the reduction of water and the natural enzymes in the meat breaking down the connective tissue. Nice try though!

0.60 - 0.82 grams protein per 1 lb. bodyweight for new muscle synthesis in active adults. This has been proven and studied for 30+ years as the optimal value. The mix-up in communication is that a sedentary person does not need this much protein since their goal is not to add muscle. They are not weight lifting, they are…

All I know is basic white girls really love this kinda stuff. You can catch them on their iPads in Starbucks wearing yoga pants, Uggs, and big ridiculous scarves this time of season, too.

The same ^ Other tips would be to hit your minimum macronutrient goals and stick to whole foods vs. (processed foods).

Greater chance, yes. Definite diagnosis without actually being diagnosed, no.
-
The info you have dug for so far has obviously not been accurate, or perhaps you were not able the understand the results. I will however agree that digestive medical issues rise when the economy allows for overindulgence/overabundance/overconsumption. That has nothing to do with what you are suggesting though.
-
Alternately, before diagnosing yourself, you need to understand that celiac disease is extremely rare. Yes, go get tested. No, do not hop on the non-gluten bandwagon just because you're afraid.
-
You might just be buying crap protein powder brands. All the ones that I've bought have tasted great...even in plain water and I'm a chef with a decent palate. Check out PES Select or XF Ultra Peptide 2.0

One of the most common misconceptions about protein shakes is that you have to blend them with ice, fruit, and other ingredients. 99.9% of active adults who are educated about protein shakes drink them with either milk, a milk substitute, or water. 2 ingredients... That's it. Hot or warm protein shakes sounds awful by the…

What routine are you on? Is it a proven routine, or do you just randomly lift whatever you want to when you go to the gym? Any cardio? What is your current weight and goal weight? Can you estimate your current bodyfat % by looking at google images and reporting back with a range?

Isolate is the wrong move UNLESS you are lactose intolerant or filthy rich. They are super pricy and only beneficial if you have an allergy to lactose.

Actually, very few preworkouts contain 300 mg caffeine or more. In a sample of 120 top-selling PWOs, only 15% contained 300 mg or more. Another ingredient that is hit or miss is Yohimbe. It makes me feel like death, so I avoid preworkouts that contain it. Also: Agmatine > Arginine Citrulline Malate > L-Citrulline Creatine…

This one, right? http://www.advocare.com/products/images/pdf/A7093.pdf That is low stim at just 120 mg caffeine per serving. The rest of the ingredients in there can either be had from everyday food or multivitamin intake. There are some aminos in there as well, but not the beneficial kind for promoting new muscle…

No problem... The main point I was making is that if you take the highest amount of protein that your body can utilize to make new muscle (0.82 g/lb), and the lowest amount of dietary fat recommended by clinicial observation (0.40-0.45 g/lb), you'd still be under 1,100 total calories. You could then fill the remaining…
