Just to show you how unrealistic that plan is (although some people probably do this...) $20 in dollar menu fast food burgers or chicken sandwiches with the works (you can add certain veggies on them for no charge). I've even gotten away with free extra patties in the past. Two sandwiches per day... 10 day span. If you…

Canned are quicker, but they lack flavor. And there's only so much you can do to jazz them up. To fix up canned beans: Drain and saute some fine minced fresh garlic and white onion in a small amount of oil. Add the drained black beans, stir to combine, and season to taste with kosher salt. You can smash them in the pot to…

Creatine is a system saturater. You take it every day (or every other day), and over time, it builds up in your system. Therefore, taking it pre-, intra-, or post- workout does not matter. My recommendation would be to get unflavored, Creapure trademarked, micronized Creatine Monohydrate. This is the purest form that…

It's Mexican, but it's probably growing in a lot of people's backyards in the US and mistaken as a weed. The leaves are oval and jagged. It's extremely potent in aroma, but it tastes less potent than it smells. More like earthy, camphor, and lemon. I hate when my Farmer's makret runs out it. Epazote elevates the black…

Open your diary... Lol... I want an example of this... or just paste an .img of it in this thread.

Dried black beans. Soak them for a day in a large bowl at room temp. Drain water and rinse the beans. Meanwhile, in a deep 4-quart pot, saute some fine minced fresh garlic and white onion in a small amount of oil. Add the soaked black beans and enough water to cover. Add a handful of whole, fresh epazote (if you can get…

$2 a day, for 3 meals per day, for a span of 10 days is not realistic when it comes to having a rational diet. Suggestion: look into a more reasonable plan.
-
Are you going to suggest this fad diet in every thread you visit?
-
All diets are fads. They are just recipes for people who have no clue how to lose weight because they don't know the basic science behind weight loss and/or don't have the commitment to do so. -Follow this plan for 6 weeks... -Count your calories using this point system... -Drink this green juice... -Take these pills...…

One doesn't need to follow fad diets sensationalized by the media and TV doctors to be healthy and lose weight. They just need common sense.

Hmmmpff... you're just not getting it. The misinformation you presented is as follows: 1. That you lost 4 lbs. in one week and the only thing you did differently was remove drinks with artificial sweeteners from your diet, thereby blaming the use of artificial sweeteners as the cause. 2. That you not only correlated a diet…

Also @DeguelloTex Strange. Perhaps the problem is trying to access a profile using a phone or tablet. It works just fine on a desktop computer and she is a brand new user with no one currently on her friends list.
-
You don't have to be friends with her. She has an open profile.
-
She's a waitress. It says in her profile.

Not trying to sell anything... not sure why you got that idea. I replied to prevent a spread of misinformation, which I see all too much of on these boards. Did you read my above reply at all? Yes, anyone can choose what to put into their body, but I'm asserting with science that all of the reasons you are suggesting that…

This is not healthy and counter-productive. You will lose muscle on a diet that is sub-1000 calories. If you were in a coma, you would be getting more calories than this. Nevertheless, if you are overweight (even just a little bit) then you are probably getting more calories than you think you are getting.

^ Basically this. I work in a restaurant, so staff meal is always like 80% carbs, very rice and pasta heavy, because they are cheap ingredients. If that's all I ate, while snacking on fries here and there, and ignoring my protein and dietary fat minimums from whole foods, then I'd be in trouble. You have to think of your…

You don't get it. You would be defying the laws of nature if that were true. So the issue is with your logging.

Rum is made from sugar, and sugar is a carb.... so indirectly, yes. >:)
-
This makes absolutely no sense.

Sweet foods are not bad, per se... unless you are regularly overindulging on high calorie cookies and brownies at the expense of more nutritious foods like broccoli and carrots. Maybe try developing your palate and learning to appreciate bitter (the opposite of sweet). It might be difficult at first, but once you crave…

Because the arbitrary reasons that you attribute to weight loss don't help you or anyone else... especially in this case where something like Splenda is next to nothing, calorie-wise per serving. In order to lose about one pound of tissue weight, you need to consume about 3,500 calories less than you expend. So if you were…

For the average person without a specific medical condition and a strict prescribed diet, the decision to go low carb is arbitrary and has no logical bearing on weight loss or overall health. When it comes to weight loss, what actually matters is being in a caloric deficit. Ideally, ensure macronutrient sufficiency…

Just posted this in another thread where the low carb posse was spouting their usual nonsense... You don't necessarily have to go "low carb" to be healthy and lose weight, but a lot of highly processed foods are very carb/sugar laden and high calorie. With a diet rich in these processed foods, it is easy for a person to…

You don't necessarily have to go "low carb", but a lot of highly processed foods are very carb/sugar laden and high calorie. With a diet rich in these processed foods, it is easy for a person to overconsume beyond their activity level. That is one of the reasons why following macro targets and knowing your daily…

What do you have against artificial sweeteners, like Sucralose? There's no real science for avoiding it so don't get caught up in the media hype against it. Usually, protein powder offers 18-26 grams of protein and 100-250 calories on average when mixed in water or milk. There's no need to blend fruit, ice, or other solid…

A whey/casein blend, preferably cheap and not full of spiked aminos, which are identified by ending in "-ine" on the ingredients label. There are different sales every week so this question would be better answered on a site with a forum that also sells these supplements, like bodybuilding.com Most blends are 100-150…

She is just as absurd as the woman in the opener, if not more. I don't agree with what either of these women promotes. One is hateful, highly prejudice, idiotic, and a complete attention *kitten*. The other is in complete denial and absolutely believes that there is nothing she can do about being 300+ lbs. obese. It is…
