all of these replies are great the differences between them are difficult to judge which is better lol. some say soda will kill you some say they dont matter if they are . tough decision but can come to the best decision with these thanks peeps.

if your looking for motivation and support you came to the right place, ive found alot of support from the MFP community :) im trying to lose up to 65 pounds and its a struggle everyday because diets are the worst for me to start, but logging on everyday has helped tremendously. so stick with it and it will stick with you!

Im new to area specific diets and was introduced to a diabetic diet from police officers i work with that seen great results from this diet. I appreciate everyones input and advice in this subject and got more than i asked for lol i am taking everything im learning and using it in the best way i possibly can! :smiley:

my academy is 4 months, the run is 1 1/2 mile in 12 min 40 push ups in a min and 35 situps in a min. lol donuts

dont be discouraged starting the diet is the easy part knowing how to deal with it is the hardest. what has helped me is breaking down your day with little meals eat breakfast, lunch, a snack, dinner, then another snack. this should help with your cravings. have breakfast that will stick with you for a while like oatmeal…

thanks for the tips and support guys, i will look up that nancy workout bet. good luck on getting that position obiwan, tough biz but someone has to do it.4 more days then i will post a check in and post the results.

right now im not doing alot of running , waiting to drop some more weight so my knees dont get too damaged but im doing some crossfit excercises with a weight bar, squats, and up downs. thighs are burnin.

nice to meet ya im aiming for a weight of 215-230 which is a pretty big jump from where i am now. have a 1 1/2 mile run i need to complete in 11 min and 40 push ups in a minute and 35 situps in a min. long road but determined.
