I do lose weight eating 2000 calories a day, even though at times my body is stubborn. I went almost 4 weeks without any weight loss aside from bouncing up and down, but I didn't lose beyond my lowest weight I had previously recorded. Then magically over the past 2 days I dropped 3 lbs. Some people may have freaked out and…

That's why I love PB2. I add it to shakes and greek yogurt and you can definitely taste it with a lot fewer calories. :)

My story isn't anything super dramatic other than I simply ate too much and found comfort in food. I also ate out of pure boredom a lot of the time. I was never skinny, but in high school I was pretty active with softball. I stopped playing softball and basically immersed myself in online chat rooms. Eating more and not…

If you're preparing meals from scratch, recipe builder is your friend. :)

I'm a big fan of cooking things that don't require too much time. Some example of meals I make: Boneless chicken breasts or steak with a side (usually Cole slaw or baked potato) and veggie Spaghetti with garlic bread Burgers with fries Sloppy Joe's with fries Tacos I don't like having to cook elaborate meals on days I…

I also watch sodium and I found Cheerios to be the best bang for your buck with sodium, serving size and calories and that tastes good. I've bought so many different cereals and none taste as good. I also like the Fiber One Honey Clusters cereal.

I think everyone has a different opinion on what healthy is. I eat Apple Cinnamon Cheerios every morning for breakfast. They're not too bad nutrition wise and they are also delicious. :)

I usually only gain 1-2 lbs as long as I keep my sodium in check and drink lots of water. In the past if I ate a lot of sodium I easily would gain 5-6 lbs of water weight.

"If it's on your plate, you have to finish it". I'm sure that contributed to my weight gain growing up. My step mom didn't believe in wasting food. We had to eat one last bite even if she made something we didn't like.

I'm a very simple person. I just want a body that is toned and I feel confident enough to wear shorts and tank tops. At this stage (5'6" 158 lbs), I'll only wear shorts and tank tops in the apartment. I want a toned stomach; I don't even care about seeing my core muscles. And hips/thighs that are toned but still maintain…

I have mine set to active and I've not had any problems. Even with that activity level I usually end up with 300-400 calories logged under exercise. In my opinion, setting to sedentary when I'm far from it becomes too confusing.

I have larger muscular calves as well with some fat on them. As much walking as I do you'd think they'd be slim, but no such luck. I've just come to accept I will never have small calves. They have gotten smaller with weight loss, though.

Same here. My goal weight was always 150, but I don't look how I imagined I would at this weight. I kinda figured my stomach would be flatter and my thighs slimmer. Sigh. I'm hoping strength training will help tighten things up as I lose weight. I think my new goal weight will be 140-145.

I'm set to active. I'm a veterinary technician and get around 10-12k daily at work.

I eat breakfast every morning. I couldn't imagine skipping it because my stomach is growling when I wake up. Then again, I also usually stop eating around 8pm the night before.

Eat what MFP tells you to plus start with 25-50% of your exercise calories. I'm 5'6" 158 lbs and I eat around 2000 calories and I lose weight.
MFP says 1500 calories. I entered in a 1.5-2 pound weight loss goal per week. I burn between 200-400 calories a day at the gym. So you're saying I should eat around 1650…

Assuming you between 5' 10" - 6' then you are definitely under-eating; not a good plan at all.
How much should I be eating a day? Calorie wise. I'm 5'10"
Eat what MFP tells you to plus start with 25-50% of your exercise calories. I'm 5'6" 158 lbs and I eat around 2000 calories and I lose weight.

I also hate running. I get no enjoyment out of it. If I do run it's in short intervals. With that being said, walking is a good alternative. Or you could always do walk/jog intervals.

Usually about 80 ounces.

All Fit Bits reset to zero at midnight  I had issues with my Zip. I felt like it was overestimating my steps. Not sure how as I had it clipped to my waist, but I had a feeling it was. I compared it to my old pedometer and it was reading higher steps than my old one. Which one was more accurate? Who knows.

I use Sandwich Thins. I buy the Kroger brand and they're only 90 calories. I bought another brand before that was 100 calories. They're pretty good. Nature's Own makes a honey wheat that is 120 calories or so for two slices. I typically buy bread that has a serving listed as 2 slices. I've found the breads that are…

Are you weighing all your food in grams and measuring liquids? If you're not, chances are you're eating more than you think. I'm 5'6" 158 lbs and I eat around 2000 calories a day and I lose weight.

It's just habit. I view it as something I do every day such as brushing my teeth or taking a shower. Do it long enough and it will become natural for you.

My first pedometer was the Sportline brand from Walmart. I think I paid about $14. You set your height, weight and stride length. No syncing required. It worked just fine for me. I have a Fit Bit Charge HR now and I can't imagine going back to a regular pedometer.

Low carb worked for me to an extent. I lost 60 lbs by following that WOE, but it just wasn't sustainable for me. I lost count how many times I lost and regained the same 10-15 lbs over and over again due to binging on carbs. I'm much happier now that I do CICO. I don't have to stress about what foods I can't have. I don't…

Feel free to add me. Sometimes I eat a lot of the same foods, but I switch it every now and again. :D

I try to aim for 100-115. Some days I'm around 90. Some days it's hard for me to get a lot of protein in.

My power went out because of the thunderstorm. :( 60% battery and no WiFi. First world problems lol.

It was when I first made the decision to lose weight. I didn't know any better and thought to lose weight I had to work out. Come to find out I actually enjoyed it once I found something I loved. For me at the time it was Turbo Jam. These days it's walking, DDR (though I don't do it specifically for exercise) and strength…
