I've been there, when all the planning and perfecting becomes a hobby, and the actual exercising never happens. Start slow, super slow. Walk, every day, 30 minutes. Then, a few diet substitutions - artificial sweetener, fruit rather than man-made treats, mustard instead of mayo, etc. Just prove, to yourself, that you can…

Two pounds per week is a lot! Maybe slow it down, give yourself more breathing room with calories, and find a balance that you can live with for many, many years. Walking is the best; you can do it until you're old as dirt!

Are you vegetarian? An iron deficiency can make you weak.

Try cutting first, to prove that you can actually do it. Many can build, but few can cut. Lots of dudes walking around with amazing arms and a beer gut.

The glycogen comment is right. And when those reserves replenish, it comes with water. So the scale will look worse than what's really happening.

If you're really changing your lifestyle, then that 30 lbs might take several months to go away. If you want a quick beach body, then most people get sabotaged at work. Is there a community candy bowl that you maybe you nibble on autopilot?

There's no accurate way. I estimate the chicken and record that as fried chicken. Then I estimate the sauce, which is really sugar syrup.

Yes, just start fresh. Your body becomes what you do most of the time. So just make sure you're good most of the time.

As long as you avoid breads, potatoes, and soda, you're getting the best that fast food can offer. I like Chipotle.

It's normal to lose strength, and think of it this way: You'll look great at the end of your cut, and when you start bulking the strength will come back much faster than it did the first time you earned it.

I had mysterious elbow pain that showed up during workouts, but turned out to be too much computer use. Especially bad on the elbow belonging to the clicking/tapping finger.

I'm another vote for back extensions, with light-ish weight. Support your supporting muscles!

Maybe your spinal erectors are not quite keeping pace with the rest of your back/legs. Give them a little attention with light weight. Just a guess.

Be honest about your diet and ask for help (no teasing or tempting; maybe fetching something different just for your plate). Willpower doesn't work; it's like asking how to avoid having an affair when you're already naked and in bed. Friends and family need to support each other.

It's personal preference as long as you use the right info to count it. I always weigh cooked because that's what is actually going into my body, no variables.

That looks like the correct amount for the average avocado. For some daily goals, that really is a calorie bomb!
