Despite some valiant efforts by increasing my cardio in this last week, my weight has remained the same going into this final week. SW: 129 CW: 120.4 GW: 119 I didn't make it to my goal weight of 119lbs, but along the way, I did reach my original MFP goal of getting to 125lbs. During this fall challenge I've gotten to a…

My plan is to try and burn 500 calories a day through cardio, continue to lift some weights, stay close to my allocated calories and try to put off engaging the sweets until a week before Christmas. And try is the key word as there will be several parties before Christmas Eve even gets here, plus I will have to sample the…

Nope, I don't trust the numbers in here at all which is why I tend to eat at 100-200 calories below my recommended deficit.

On mornings where I exercise, I have milk with protein powder. On mornings where I don't exercise, usually a serving of cottage cheese with either a banana or a Greek yogurt.

Didn't bother recording last week's weight after a celebratory weekend that saw me retain a good 5lbs of water weight. As for this week: SW: 129lbs CW: 120.4lbs GW: 119lbs Weight loss: 8.6lbs Down roughly 2lbs since 2 weeks ago. Might be able to make it into the 119lbs before the end of this challenge.

I've had years where I've put on up to 10lbs during the holidays and I use holidays loosely as for me, the holidays start the moment I begin to engage in holiday treats until the very last one is consumed, which can be all the way into February if no one else is helping to finish those Costco sized bags of candy. But…

Absolutely yes to dairy. Give me cheese, milk, butter, yogurt and ice cream please!

I pre-log during the work week as my breakfast and lunch are pretty much set. Dinner is usually the one meal of the day that is iffy depending on if I decide to exercise either when I get right home or later in the evening.

You can never have enough chicken. I could eat it every day and never tire of it.

Water and milk with whey powder are my daily drinks. Any other type of drinks tend to be on special occasions.

If I had access to it all the time, quark would be my favorite snack.

Was treated to lunch at the local restaurant today. Got a grilled chicken breast on a chef salad, kept the dressing on the side.

I find that mini-goals are a good way to see your progress and nice little milestones to celebrate along the way. If I had a really large amount of weight to lose and only concentrated on the end goal, I would probably go insane. But those mini-goals would really help me keep my sanity.

I do get colder now that I've lost some weight. I've actually added half a dozen sweaters to my wardrobe as a result of it.

I will attempt to do more cardio between now and Christmas, while still eating at a deficit. By the 19th of December when I plan to start taking out the sweets and treats I'll continue with the cardio but will permit myself to eat at maintenance. Then on the actual days of celebration like Christmas Eve, Day, New Year's…

SW: 129lbs CW: 122.6lbs GW: 119lbs Total lost: 6.4lbs with 3.4lbs to go! Gonna be close as to whether or not I hit the 10lbs mark on time for December 1st but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I just wanted to meet my original goal before December which I did a few weeks ago. Now I'm working on my first stretch goal which I will try to reach by the 1st of December, though I won't mind if it takes me until mid-December to actually get to it.

Only during the week I have breakfast, come weekend time by the time I'm ready for my first meal it's well beyond lunch time.
-
During the week, I like to do weight lifting in the morning and cardio at night. During the weekends I'll try to do everything together and get it out of the way so that I can enjoy the rest of the day,

It took me 2 months before I could see the results through my wardrobe and probably 4 months in total before I could start seeing the signs in the mirror.

One of my favorite breakfasts is a greek yogurt with 1/3 cup of oatmeal, a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and a banana.

A year ago Halloween had come and gone, my weight was creeping back up into the 150s after it had gone down in the 140s during the summertime before setting in at around 155lbs after the holidays. 12 months later, I've lost close to 30lbs and feel really good about myself, I still have a little ways to go before I stop…

Christmas is my favorite time of year and the food tends to be one of the reasons for it. I have so many wonderful memories related to trying different foods during the holidays and this year I plan on baking up a storm. Not to mention all the store bought foods I already have stock piled, ready to eat and share with…

Love grapes, been scarfing them down like hot cakes these last few months.

Keep at it and you will see results in the long run. I am finally seeing results on my stomach and for the first time in my life there are signs of there being abdominal muscles underneath the belly fat. I can't wait to see what my torso will be like with another 5-10lbs lost, it's quite the exciting feeling.

Despite having plenty of leftovers and having purchased more discounted candy than I should, I haven't really indulged in the candy this year. It's nice if I've even eaten 500 calories worth of the stuff yet. Although last night I did go through the mountain of candy that I have left and made an advent calendar for…

It's a great feeling when you are close to your goal weight, that all that hard work has finally paid off. I had a big smile when I saw that I had reached my original goal a few weeks ago. Now I'm working on some stretch goals and as I see signs of my abdominal muscles for the first time in my life, I feel incredible. I'm…

Nope. I don't use a food scale. I imagine if I did, I would probably be a good 5lbs lighter by now, but losing a pound a week on average since I started is good enough for me.

Resisting free food at work is always a tough one. I would like to say that I'm always successful at passing it up, but I'm not. Some times I can ignore the tempting desserts, other times no. When I can't resist them, I just tend to do a bit more cardio at night in hopes that the added exercise helps keep me at around…

Yes, I log to the best of my abilities.
